Hey... So it's been a while huh? I didn't mean to put this story on hold but I'm getting right back on it and I'm really motivated that I'm already working on the next chapter 👌🏿 anyway hopefully you all enjoy :)

Ps, I left an easter egg in the Lindsey chapter and I'm surprised no one noticed lol.

Chapter.34🌺

"For the last time Charlie I don't know."

"How could you not know?!? Aren't you her friend?"

After that meeting with Lindsey 2 days ago, Charlie has been asking me non stop about her or talking about her.

The dude is love with her.

"Well, I only met her 2 times." I told him the same thing over and over again.

"Well you should know something about her."

I could shrug because I honestly hardly knew anything about Lindsey other than she's a tomboy the only feminine thing about her is her hair, and eyes I suppose but that's about it.

"Well... She rides a motorcycle, she seems one to fight instead of flight,  uh... Oh she can chug a whole can of coke in a go." I tried pointing out some facts about her but that's pretty much all I knew.

"Yea... She sounds pretty awesome." Charlie said with a shy smile. I couldn't help but smile back.

"You should ask her out." I suggested.

"Well, I would've but I thought for sure you would have brought her here too with you."

"Wait, is that why you invited me over to your place? Because you thought Lindsey was going to come along?"

Well that explains it why he suddenly he was so eager and excited when he called me over.

"Pretty much, but that's alright because at least we can hang out just the two of us."

Charlie opened the door to his room, inside was kinda the same from the old house he lived with the others, messy.

The only difference was the change of curtains, bed sheets, and the bed itself, it was a bunk bed.

"Oh do you have another sibling?" I asked as I examined the bed.

"Yea I have brother his name is Jake, he already moved out to go to this other college, so we hardly see him."

He seemed to try to avoid the subject from the way he would look away and seemed a bit tense as well.

I quickly took the hint and looked around for a way to change the subject.

"Uhh, ah!" I spotted something that I knew would take his mind off the subject.

"I saw this in your room back in the old house with the guys, do you still play?" I asked as I held up the guitar carefully.

"Yea, my mom thought it would be good to try out an instrument, so I settled for a guitar, at first I didn't like it since it would hurt my fingers." He stepped close and took the guitar from me.

"But after mom encouraged me to continue, I got use to it and now it's a passion. Even though I've hardly been practicing the past few months, I still enjoy playing."

He tested the strings creating sounds, then would adjust the strings.

"Ah, there we go." He started playing a tune that sounded familiar to me.

"Is that... Guns N' Roses?" I asked.

"Yea man, I've been trying to learn to play this song since I was a preteen." He stopped playing.
