Vince Lee POV

"Vince, please! I'm pregnant!" My eyes widened as I awoke from my dream. Riley is pregnant. WHY?! SHE IS MINE, NOT HIS!! I look around and see that I'm tied to the bed and I can't move at all. The prison doctor comes in and looks at my chart. "Mr. Lee, you are in perfect health with the exception of the black eye, bruises, hyphema in your eye, bruised ribcage, and a missing tooth. This fella must have been big to have hurt you so badly." He joked and smiled until he read the police report as to what happened to me and Charlie. "I also see that you were burned along your arm three years ago." I abruptly turned around on my side. That day was nothing but a reminder of what could have been with Riley. I was so close to having her in my arms again. I fucked it up. The doctor gave me medication for anxiety-relief and I started to drift to sleep. Before passing out, I was able to hear how they were going to move me into solitary confinement.

Two Hours Later
I wake up in a dark room with only a sliding food tray door as my light to the world. I am still groggy. I stick my hands out of the small door and I am unable to feel the small sunlight on my hands. I am exhausted and drained from the meds. I lay down on the floor, looking upwards and waiting for death to come at last. I want Riley with me forever.

A Month Later
I have been stuck in the fucking room for weeks, for 23 hours with one hour of freedom in the courtyard every goddamn day. I NEED to get out. I have to see Riley. She belongs to me only and not to that arrogant asshole of a district attorney. As I laid in the floor, an idea pops into my head like a lightbulb. I can make my escape when I am doing laundry duty for my one hour. They'll be less guards in the room and no one will suspect a thing. Suddenly, keys jangle and the door opens. It's Wilson, the guard. "Alright Lee. Let's go do laundry. Double time! Move it! Move it!" As I line up, I smirk at my brilliant idea. Wilson escorts me to the room. "Wash and dry these sheets and have them folded in an hour. You'll be joined by eight other inmates. Enjoy." He shut the door. I look around for an exit that seems good for me and I find one. A small window that has no bar and a small crack in the window. I look around to spot any guards and none are seen. I break the window using my legs and shimmy through the window. I then grab whatever was left of the glass and hold it close to use as a weapon. I quickly run and scaled the fence, to jump out and into freedom. No one suspects anything and no alarms are going off. It is almost 2 miles from the nearest highway. I run as fast as I can until I'm so far out. I can barely hear the alarms ringing from the prison. I am fighting against sticks and trees with leaves that scratch along my face and arms. I finally see the highway and look for cars. I see a small gray Prius driving by. I seize the moment to  wave the car down. It's an elderly man and woman driving. "Hi, son. Are you lost?" The woman asked me. Luckily, I only have a white shirt and gray pants. I then reply, "Yes, ma'am. Could you please drive me back home to Boston?" The man let me in his car and I sat inside in the backseat. We begin to drive away and the woman asks me, "Are you hungry? We can buy you something. You look starved. How long were you lost?" "Now, Daphne, don't ask the boy too many questions. Those clothes look battered. We'll even buy you a pant and shirt. You can pay us later, son." The man smiled at me. I smiled back as not only I was bestowed this wonderful luck, but I was heading out back to Boston to see Riley again and have her for myself once more.
