"Where are they?" I snarled. Alexia grinned, flipping back her golden hair.
"Why would I tell you that?" Alexia laughed. Anger boiled inside of me, months of hatred for Alexia finally coming to the surface. I swung my fist at her and it collided into her face. Alexia flew backwards through the air and crashed into a table full of empty glasses. She was covered in tiny pieces of broken glass.
"Don't mess with me, Alexia." I hissed, amazed at my new found strength.
"Oh, you have your dhampir powers now." Alexia snapped, getting to her feet.
"Yes, so like I said. Don't mess with me."
"You silly girl," said Alexia."One tiny signal and my friend Moira kills your family. So I think it's you who shouldn't mess with me."
I had never hated anybody before as I glared at my worst enemy.
"Come with me, and I'll drain your blood and become immortal. If not, you're family dies. You've already lost Leah over it."
I glared at Alexia for what seemed like forever. With one final sigh, I nodded. "Okay, let's go."

I followed Alexia up the steps and to her double front doors. She swung them open and strutted into the mansion.
"Where's Leah and Harrison?" Alexia demanded. Moira stood up from the couch and approached Alexia.
"They went to crash the Dhampir's party and kill a few people." Moira explained. Instantly, I turned around to head back to stop Leah and Harrison from crashing the party but Alexia's hand was clamped around my wrist.
"Remember, you leave, you're family dies." Alexia snarled darkly. Gritting my teeth, I sighed and followed Alexia into the main lobby.
"Say hello to your family!" Alexia laughed as I stared down at my family as hostages, staring at me, wide eyed and pure fear on their face.
"You have ten minutes and then I drain your blood." Alexia snapped and left the room quickly. I didn't know what to say to my family.

"Where did Rowan go?" Cordelia asked Kestrel. Kestrel shrugged and placed her drink down on the table.
"I don't know, but who's that over by the doors?" Kestrel said, pointing to the door. The doors were open and stood at the threshold was man and a woman. They were hard to see with the crowd.
"That's Leah and I think that's one of Alexia's vampires." Cordelia told Kestrel and immediately, Kestrel tensed up. Leah and Kestrel both caught each other's glare and immediately began making their way towards each other. Leah was throwing people aside. There were too many people in the way for Kestrel to get through.
"Move!" Kestrel roared and everyone around her was pushed against the wall. Leah and Kestrel reached each other.
"Hello Sabrina." Leah laughed. Her fangs came out and she lunged for her but she couldn't reach the neck. Leah sent soaring through the air, powered by a wave of telekinetic force. She crashed into a table. Kestrel then stormed over to Leah and stood over her.
"You've reached the point where I have no choice but to kill you." Kestrel said coldly.
Leah just snarled. Kestrel raised her hand to perform a spell but with a blur of swift movement, Leah had disappeared out of the mansion. There was a crash and Kestrel span around to see George tackle the male vampire to the floor, knocking over a table and a few chairs. There were screams from some girls and cheering of "Fight! Fight! Fight!" From the boys. Kestrel closed her eyes and stretched out her power to the vampire.
Jonathan. The voice in her head told her.
George was sent crashing into the wall as Jonathan stood over him, wooden stake in his grip. Kestrel saw Erin and somebody else move in the corner of her eye and the next thing she knew, Erin and Samuel were taking on Jonathan. Erin sliced him with his stake and Erin jumped in and plunged her Bokken(wooden sword) into Jonathan's heart.
He gasped and fell to his knees. His skin went from colour, to pale and to grey. Then, he burst into flames and turned to ashes.
There was a few cries from the crowd.
"It's all part of the show. These are professionals!" Cordelia called out. "The party's over! Leave!"
The people began to leave the mansion, looking confused and scared.
After everyone had left, Kestrel fell to her knees.
"Lukas is dead. He's been dead for more than 48 hours and I haven't even had chance to cry. I hate those vampires!" Kestrel said, as if her heart had been ripped out.
"It's going to be okay, Kestrel. Don't worry." Erin said softly as she knelt beside we best friend. "It's all going to be okay."
They all knew those words were lies.
