"What the fuck did he just say?!" Tim says, standing up straight.
"Ooops" Jay says with a straight face. I stand there still. I shouldn't feel bad should I? Tim made his decision! My heart. My head. My stomach. I'm all fucked up. I should probably say something now.
"Are you fucking him Kali?!" Tim blurts
"Umm" I hesitate.
"Nigga, why yo ass here anyway? Didn't y'all break up?" Jay asks. " Kali?"
"Umm"
"I'm gonna put some clothes on now" Jay says laughing walking toward my room.
"Hey! I thought yo ass was gay?!" Tim asks "Kali?"
" Okay! Okay! Listen, here's the truth! When Jessica called my phone I was done. At that moment I figured you were an "ain't shit nigga" and in my mind, we weren't together. When you came to my house the first time that following night, Jay had stayed the night with me, not with Ray. So no. He's not gay" Tim's expression is filled with anger and pain, but I continue. "That night I came home from getting my hair done and you surprised me with that romantic dinner. When I left to get my wallet from Tammy's shop, that was a lie. I had my wallet. I actually went to go see Jay" Tim shakes his head in anger. I can see his face getting red. He's pissed. "I went to see Jay to tell him I couldn't see him anymore. I left and hadn't spoken to him until recently. I cut him off to focus on us, but when you weren't willing to take this next step in our relationship I unintentionally reconnected with him. But, we didn't have sex. Umm . This time"
"Yet" Jay interrupts coming back putting his shirt on.
Tim pushes past me and jets up the steps , tackling Jay. I run up the steps and witness Jay flip Tim over. Jay crouches over Tim and starts pummeling him.
"Stop Jay! He's bleeding!" I scream. Jay disregards my screams and continues beating Tim's ass. I come from behind Jay and wrap my arms around his neck, putting him in a choke hold. He stops and stands up, pushing me into the wall behind me.
