The Silver Dragon
See the silver dragon, quick
Flying oh so high
Flying swiftly overhead
Doing cartwheels in the sky
Oh how I wish that I could sit
Upon the dragons back
And fly above, searing thread
Until it does turn black
Then I return to the weir
To celebrate our triumphant-ness
Then in the name of dragons gone
Our food we shall bless
When the day is done, finally
Then we shall have our rest
But in our minds where myths are made
We know the silver dragon best
Sleeping deeply yet not so deep
We dream of finding the silver dragon in our mind
But then we realize it is US
Who the silver dragon must find
The silver dragon waits until
The day when they will come
The true riders who will bring them back
And bring them back they will, one by one.
