I wake up to Jace and Caitlin jumping on my chest.  I start tickling them, and they run from the room screaming. I sigh and get out of bed. I look at the time on my phone, and realize it is almost 11.  I walk over to my suitcase and pull out a lime green tank top and a pair of black shorts. I get dressed, then hear a knock on the door behind me.

"Come in." I look over at the door as it opens, and Mike comes in.  I smile at his bed head, happy I'm not the only one who slept late. "Good morning."  He comes around and hugs me.

"Good morning to you, too.  Are you ready to see the Sargent?" I laugh.

"I would be if I actually knew his name."  Mike starts laughing, too.

"Well, I can't help you there, but you could always just call him Sargent."

"I'll try that." He grabs my hand and pulls me into the dining room where his mom is setting out plates of sandwiches.  I sit down and instantly devour mine before getting in my car to leave.

When I walk into Dairy Queen, I see the familiar face of the Sargent.  I walk over to him and sit down.

"Good afternoon, Cassidy."

"Good afternoon, Sargent."  He pulls out some papers from his bag.

"Alright, Cassidy.  Here's what we are going to do here today." He pushes one paper toward me.  "This paper says that you want to move and are not being forced to.  All you have to do is sign it." I take the pen he hands me and read through the contract quickly before signing it.  I push it back toward him and look up.  "Alright, now we have found a couple of houses for you to look at.  I know about your, um, situation, so they are all at least five bedrooms, which are pretty hard to find here. Here are they're profiles." He hands me three different portfolios.  I open up the first one.

I pull out the pictures.  The house reminds me kind of like a castle.  It's three stories with and attic.  I pull out the second picture.  There is a long narrow swimming pool.  I've loved to swim since I was little, but I am afraid to have one on my property, because I don't want my babies to drown.  The third picture is of the garage and pool.  The pool has stepping stones going across it over to a ledge.  The garage is two stories, and it is only big enough to fit one car. The forth picture is of a long wide hallway.  The entry way to the hallway is an arch.  At the very end of the hallway, you can make out stairs.

The fifth and sixth pictures are of the living room.  It has two chandeliers and mood lights.  There is no door, it is open to the hallway.  There is a fire place, and a wall of glass doors leading to a balcony.  The seventh picture is of the balcony.   Half of the balcony is covered, the other half isn't.  The eighth and ninth pictures are of the dining room.  It is a very dark blue. It had six big white windows, and two white doors.  It is a very large room, and the picture shows it with a ten seater table in it.  The tenth picture is of a smaller living room connected to the dining room.  It is green with a chandelier. It is about a third the size of the first living room.  The eleventh, twelfth, and thirteenth pictures are of an L shaped kitchen.  The walls are all red, and on the base of the L there are glass doors leading outside.  There is a chandelier and mood lights.  All of the kitchen appliances are in the top part of the L.  There is a fire place in there, too.  It has two stoves, a huge sink, and a stainless steal fridge with side-by-side doors.  There is lots of cabinet space.  There is a dish washer and another not as big sink.  There is also an island.Three white doors lead off of the kitchen.

The fourteenth picture is of the balcony off of the kitchen. It is completely enclosed, and the walls are made out of glass.  There are ceiling fans and mood lights.  A glass door leads you out onto a not enclosed balcony. The fifteenth picture is of a bedroom.  It is light blue, with high ceilings, a chandelier, and a fire place.  It has hard wood floors, and there are glass doors leading out to a balcony.  The sixteenth picture is of a bathroom off of the bedroom.  It is long and narrow.  The walls are cream.  It has marble counter tops with two sinks.  It has a walk in shower and a hot tub bath tub.

The seventeenth picture is of a bedroom much like the first.  the only differences are that this one doesn't have a fire place, and the walls are pale green.  The eighteenth picture is of a smaller bedroom.  The walls are white, the floors hard wood, and there is a single chandelier in the middle of the room.  The nineteenth picture is a bedroom similar to the third.  The walls in this one are tan, and there are mood lights as well as a chandelier.  The twentieth picture is of a small family room.  The walls are green, and it is lit up by mood lights and electric candles.

The twenty-first and twenty-second pictures are of most of the first floor.  It is all one room.  White pillars help support the weight of the upper part of the house.  The walls are pale yellow, and it is lit up with doom lights and mood lights.  There are several doors leading off of the room. There is a white stair case with brown railing.  The twenty-third picture is of yet another balcony.  It is on the top floor, and has white fencing surrounding the border.  That is the last picture.  I pull out the paper that is with it.  It says that it is a 7 bedroom, 11 bathroom, 10 year old house.  The Sargent hands me a black piece of paper.

"Here's what I suggest you do.  Right down house 1, 2, &3 leaving space between each."  I do as I'm told.  "Now, write down pros & cons under each of those." I do.  "And now right down what's good and bad about the first house."  I think for a minute, and this is what I finally come up with.

Pros
Lots of bedrooms
Lots of bathrooms
Lots of inside space
Nice kitchen

Cons
Wide stair hard to put up baby gate
Pool would be hard to watch
Not much free outside space
Not enclosed balconies would have to be kept locked so the babies don't get hurt

I push the paper aside.  I then pull the second portfolio towards me.  The first, second, and third pictures are of a tan two story house.  It has narrowing foot steps half way up the path way leading to the front door.  It has two chimneys.  The fourth and fifth pictures are of the back deck and back of the house.  The house has several balconies and a covered pool.  It has stairs that lead up to the second story balcony outside.  The sixth picture is of the back porch.  It is long, with a ceiling fan.  There are glass doors leading inside.  The seventh picture is of the deck again.  The eighth picture is of a garden on the side of the house.  it is filled with bushes and shrubs.  The ninth and tenth pictures are of the front of the house again.  And that's all of the pictures.

I instantly dismiss the second house for lack of pictures of the inside.  I don't want a house that might be falling apart.  I cross out house two and pull the third portfolio toward me.

In the end, I decide to get the first house.  The third house hadn't been in very good condition.  The Sargent nods.

"Alright then.  Now, all that's left is I need you to fill out some papers for the house.  Hang on a second."  He pulls some papers out of his brief case and hands them to me.

I fill them out and hand them back to him.  I then go order me some food, because I have been here for three hours and all I've eaten today is a PB&J sandwich.  I sit back down with my food.

"Okay now, Miss Williams.  Here's how this is going to work.  The movers will start bringing your things to your new house today.  However, you don't really have enough furniture for your new house.  As is police, we will pay for what ever it is you feel like you need for your house.  Just order it online, and we will pay for it.  As for school, you will be expected to start back up here in the fall, is that understood." I nod.  "Great then, you are free to go." I stand up with my trash, shake his hand, throw away my trash, then head out to my car. I drive over to Alex's house and pick her up.

It had been a long time since we had spent any time with just the two of us.  We head over to the spa.
