After we leave the pet store, we head to McDonalds. As we eat our food we start discussing possible pet names. Alex, being Alex, is the first to suggest a name.
"I like Midnight for the doxipoo." I write it down on a piece of paper and look at Mike.
"Any ideas?"
"They're your dogs."
"I'm not good at making decisions." Mike laughs.
"Well, when I like Brownie for the husky, 'cause she's so sweet. And she's brown." I laugh at Mike's comment. I write down the name on the paper and eat another fry.
"Actually, I think we should name the papishiere boy Brownie and the girl Blondie. 'Cause they're sweet too, and it makes since 'cause then the only siblings have related names. And the girl is pretty much the color of a Blondie." I nod, then write down the names under those dogs. Suddenly, an idea comes to my head.
"The poodle's got to be named Oreo."
"That's a great name."
"Nice job, Cass." I write down Oreo underneath poodle. Then, we set to work trying to name the others.
In the end, we go with Oreo for the Poodle, Brownie and Blondie for the Papishieres, Peanut Butter for the Husky (we spent 30 minutes debating between Peanut Butter and Reese), and Licorice for the Doxipoo. You can tell we were hungry.
Alex's mom comes and picks her up, then me and Mike set out to the hard part, deciding who gets what dog.
"I call Oreo." Mike laughs, and I join in.
"Alright. Now, there are two girls and two boys, and you're having two girls and two boys, so, I think the girls should get the girls, and the boys should get the boys."
"That makes sense."
"Hey, Cass?"
"Yea?"
"Have you given any thought to what you want to name the kids yet?" I shake my head.
"I've been kinda busy lately."
"It's alright."
"Have you?" He shakes his head.
"I kinda only found out last night. No biggie though." We both break out laughing.
"All right, how 'bout this. We'll each make a list of names we like, and in two weeks, we'll put them together and try to narrow it down to two of each." I nod.
"Sounds good to me."
"Alright then. We better get home."

Hey guys! Well, to the right is Brownie. I absolutely feel in love with all of the dogs at that store, so I promise, there will be more buying of pets in the future, but not necessarily by or for Cassidy. Anyway, voting hasn't changed any since I last updated. Keep reading, liking, commenting, and sharing. I want to enter in the Watty's! Happy reading, peeps.
