Anna tried her hardest not to stare at the girl that Jessie was walking with. She saw Jessie lean in and kiss the girl on the cheek and felt a surge of anger. Although she wasn't sure why. She didn't really know Jessie all that well. But what she saw and heard of her made her like her. But the girl that was walking with Jessie was a definite 11 on a scale from one to ten. Anna couldn't help but rush over to force an introduction. Anna never felt such an urge before to talk to someone. She walked over to the place where Jessie and the girl still stood outside of some sort of apartment building. She smiled at Jessie as she walked up.

"Hey Jessie. Long time no see. How is Lana doing?" Jessie had a look of confusion for a moment and then she smiled weakly. Jessie looked from Anna to the girl and then back.

"Hey Anna. Um. Lana is doing well I guess. I haven't really talked to her lately with finals and everything that is going on." Anna felt like something was afoot and decided to pry a little into the life of little Jessie. She looked at the girl and couldn't help but admire the brazen pink streaks in her hair and the way her hazel eyes shined when she smiled. It sort of gave Anna butterflies. And Anna never got butterflies.

"So. Who is this?" Jessie's eyes widened a little as she seemed to consider the answer to the question. The girl butt in and offered her hand to Anna.

"My name is Quinn. Jessie and I are the best of friends." She smiled at Anna and Anna took her hand and shook it. Quinn had incredibly soft skin and small hands.

"Oh so you two aren't a pair?" Anna asked with a raised eyebrow. Quinn laughed softly and sweetly.

"You sure are forward aren't you?" She smiled and tucked a piece of hair behind her ear. Jessie finally spoke.

"Quinn and I are just friends. She moved here recently and I offered to be her tour guide. That's it." Jessie said with a nod of her head. Quinn laughed again.

"I think it's safe to say that I am wildly attracted to Jessie and I would love very much to go out with her on a real date." Quinn said with a wide grin. Jessie's eyes widened and Anna let out a sort of bark laugh.

"Jesus you sure are popular with the ladies Jessie. But I doubt Lana would like you seeing other girls behind her back." Anna was surprised at her own seemingly malicious words. Jessie frowned.

"I don't think you really know what Lana would like would you?" Jessie said and turned to Quinn with a half hearted smile. "I will call you later okay? I have to run to Chemistry." She gave Anna a look that could kill and then walked in the opposite direction of them.

"Wow. I think you pushed a button." Quinn said with a soft smile. There was something so innocent about her face. It could make any sane person look twice at the very least.

"I'd say. I never was good at talking to pretty girls." Anna said with a wicked grin that said that the statement she had just made was completely false.

"Alright. I will buy that. Because I don't know you that well. I guess what I really want to know is who this Lana girl is." Anna smiled weakly because she honestly felt a little guilty about the dig on Jessie. Jessie was nothing but nice to her. Anna just wasn't used to talking to people that were genuinely sweet.

"It's nothing. Just the last time I saw her she was lip locked with this girl named Lana who I thought was her best friend. I am little unsure of their real relationship. I was trying to get with Jessie for a while. She is incredibly hot after all. Sometimes I wonder if the whole Lana thing wasn't just a ploy to get me to back off. The thing is, this girl Lana, she is like the deadliest looking lesbian I have ever met. Not that she looks malicious. Just that she could do some damage to some hearts and I am pretty sure, from what I have heard, that she has done just that. To like every girl in her high school. Which is impressive but I am just not so sure that Jessie needs to date someone like that. I don't know. I am just backing away from that mess right now and keeping my options open. After all, I am just a freshman." She smiled at Quinn and Quinn returned the grin.

"That sounds like a soap opera to me." She smiled. "I kind of have to go get ready for work." She smiled apologetically at Anna.

"Alright. But before you go. Can I get your number? I think you are hot and maybe we could go out sometime."Quinn considered it for a moment before reaching for Anna's phone and typing her number in. She bit her bottom lip and nodded goodbye as she handed her phone back to her. Anna couldn't help but grin as she walked away from Quinn.
