*beep bee-* right on time I hit the big round button getting out of bed heading straight for the bathroom to start my morning routine. It's 5:30 in the morning and by this time my mother has already left for work so I rely on my cheap old clock to wake me up in the morning. —I should probably introduce myself. My name is Mia, I'm 17 years old and a senior. I live with my mother and older sister Phoenix. I have two friends, holly and jay. Holly has been my friend since my freshman year of high school and jay has been my best friend since I was a baby. Both of our parents are best friends so we kinda had no choice😹. I'm shy and don't really fit into big crowds, I like to say I'm just like every other depressed teenager, but my mom and doctor think differently....whatever.

After I pick out my outfit which consists of a black and red jacket with an adidas crop top, and black ripped skinny jeans. I pair my outfit with some bright red shoes. My outfit goes perfectly with my black hair and bright blue eyes and pale skin. Right as I finish putting on my shoe- "Mia hurry up or we'll be late on the first day" I quickly hurry and grab my red backpack and head down stairs. I grab a apple as I don't have time to eat, heading to the down I see my sister waiting for me. "Not bad" she says looking me up and down obviously talking about my outfit. " thanks, I thought I try something new this year " she rolls her eyes clearly noting my sarcasm🤣. We both head out the door and to the car. It takes us about 15 minuets to get to our school, half way through the drive I get a text from my best friend jay. •JAY! Jay• good morning bestfriendddd!! You best look cute today, I can't be the only one this year with style.. see you soon loves jay. 💋

By the time I finish texting jay we arrive at my school. Red Cain High, as we pull into the driveway I see kids running around acting a fool. Some of them are reading , sum talking, sum kissing- ew moving on... I get out the car and head for the front entrance, as I walk In I'm quickly crushed into a big hug "ahh god jay let me breathe!" I say trying get out of his tight hold. "Sorryyy I really missed you!" He finally let's go and we start walking through the halls " I know I missed you too jay, it was so boring without you." I say " then you should have came with me! I asked you a billion times" he says kinda sad that I didn't go with him. Jay and he family went on this trip to London. He asked me to go, as much as I wanted to I couldn't. I had to stay and help my mom. She's sick so I couldn't leave her alone. " I know, I wanted to go but you know I had to stay and help my mom" I say trying to get my point across. " ugh I know I know. I just don't see why you're sister couldn't stay and help her" *ringggg ringggg* the bell rings signaling that it's time to head to first period. I quickly pull out my schedule to see who I have. "What your first class?" Jay asks "mmm miss Austin? Biology? Yeah her. What about you?" I say "oh I got...Mr Jackson. English." Disappointed I say my goodbyes to jay and head to my first class.
