"i'm so excited, kookie. i can't sleep~" i rolled my eyes as she giggled beside me. tomorrow is her highschool reunion party and she could not stop talking about it the whole week.
"yeah, doesn't seem like it." i said with a bored tone. she smiled and went closer to me. she hugged me and leaned her head on my chest.
it felt so right... like the old times.
"kookie, i love you so much."
i knew she thought i wouldn't hear it but i did.
i smiled and kissed her hair. "i love you too."
i heard her gasped and looked up to me as i caressed her hair.
"you do?"
i shook my head. she was so stubborn and i love it. i always do.
i don't know what happened to me.
i don't know what came to me that i became so distant to her, so rude,
her WORST half..
i don't know what made me such a handful of a husband to her, when i've always known how much she deserves all the good in this cruel world.
"lisa, i'm sorry." i breathed as i buried my face in her hair. i breathed the sweet smell that i always crave for.
i heard her giggled as she pulled me even closer to her. i hugged her back.
"i love you, jungkook. i will always forgive you." she replied.
it felt so good.
i missed this.
i missed her even if we were always together.
i missed us
and it was all my fault.. i was the one who has changed for worst.
i wanted to make it up to her little by little... starting tonight.
i bit my lip as i caressed her torso...
but i heard her small snores.
i kissed her forehead and looked down to her small pretty face that i always adore.
'i guess tonight wasn't the night.'
"sleepwell, baby." i whispered.
'i'll make it up to you, lisa.'
'you'll see.'
'your kookie's back.'
