Falling (Levi x Eren Story)

{Eren's POV}

I can't believe I even asked that question.
"Do you want to sit with me and Armin at lunch, because you're normally alone?"
What was I thinking...
But I'm still even more surprised that he actually agreed to.

So many questions were going through my head.
But the main one was
'How do I tell him about my home-life if he asks...'

It was period 2 and I was luckily sat next to Armin.

{Time Skip - 10 mins}

"Hey, Armin?"
"Yes, Eren?"
"I was wondering, do you mind if... L-Levi say with us at lunch..."

He stared at me.

"You mean, Levi, Levi Ackerman..."

"Yes, that's him!"
"Y-yeah... ok then"

He glanced away for a second.

"Why do you... seem scared?"
"Well, he spoke to me last week..."
"And?"

I got really scared at this point.
'Did he ask about me?
Did he do something?'

"Eren... he noticed your scars"

A tear fell down my face.

The one person I never wanted to see the scars, actually noticed them.

"Eren, he asked me what they were, and I told him that you cut yourself... I'm sorry"

Even though we were in the middle of lesson I still burst into tears.
That's when I saw Levi, yet again on the other side of the room. Staring into my eyes.

Miss Zoe wandered over to Armin.
"Armin, please may you take Eren out the classroom?" She asked in a worried tone.

I'm guessing she knows too, since she is Levi's counsellor.

Great.

{Armin's POV}

"Yes!"

I ushered Eren out the classroom, and turned to glance at Levi.
He replied with a slow nod, then glances down and rubbed his eyes.

I knew they both liked eachother.
But I decided not to say anything to anyone.

Me and Eren we're just outside the door.
I hope that no one hears us.

"Shh, calm Eren. It's not that bad"
He fell into my arms.
"H-how is it not that b-bad?!" He shouted/mumbles at me.
I felt really bad.

"Well Eren, it's kinda good not to keep it only between you, me and my mum. You'll feel better at lunch.
We can all sit and have a laugh. Me, you and Levi."

He then smiles and nods.
{Time skip - 10 mins}

We walk into the classroom, only to see that Petra and Levi are apparently yet again having another argument. Although this is the first I have seen today.

"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU GOT ME AND ALL MY FRIENDS IN TROUBLE" Petra screamed whilst Miss Zoe tried to calm her down.

"Well it's not my fault the way you were treating Eren"
Levi came with a more calm approach, it's probably with all the counselling he's had.

Eren just stared at the argument.
Levi noticed and smiled at him.
Eren looked away and blushed.
I smirked.

"BITCH, WHY DO YOU STAND FOR THAT FAGGOT AND THEN FUCKING SMILE AT HIM!
NO WONDER YOU DIDN'T WANT TO GO OUT WITH ME!"

Levi's smile suddenly turned to a frown, as he ran towards Petra about to slap her.

{Eren's POV}

I was a blushing mess until I saw Levi hold his hands in a tight fist about to hit Petra.
I knew she was being a bitch, and she deserves a slap.

But I didn't want Levi to be in trouble. Not because of me anyway.

I suddenly ran forward, and before Levi could hit Petra, my hand grabbed onto his fist.

We locked eyes for a second until he slowly pulled away his hand, with mine still on his.

Petra looked into my eyes. She seemed scared.

"Petra stay at lunch." Miss Zoe shouts out of the blue.
As she probably knows what happening here.

{Time Skip - Lunch Time}

{Levi's POV}

Ever since that lesson, I've had Hanji keep an eye on me.
Eren sadly wasn't in any of those lessons but he will be in my next.

I walked into the canteen to spot Armin talking to a tall brunette, which I'm guessing is Eren.
Since I can't see his face from this angle.

Armin nudges Eren and nods, he turns to see me walking towards him.
The edges of is mouth tilt upwards a little. I can see that he's struggling to smile.

"Hey Levi" Armin Says
"Hi..." I reply in a quiet tone.

15 minutes have passed and then Eren begins to talk.

"Oh hey, Levi, I'm really sorry for earlier. I didn't mean to interrupt between you and Petra. I-i didn't know what to d-"

I cut him off in the sentence.

"Seriously, Eren. Don't get worked up about it. It's fine honestly."
I smiled at him, making him blush.
It was cute.

{Eren's POV}

We were talking a lot since he said that. I was perfectly normal until I saw Petra walk in the canteen with her friends with her.

That's when I started stumbling my words. Levi realised what happened and held my shoulder.

"Don't worry about her, pretend that she isn't there"

I looked into his eyes and before I could say anything he replied
"And if she does come over, either Armin would try to use civil communication, and debate over her words. Or I'll give her a piece of her own medicine."

He literally read my mind. I was so amazed.
I didn't realise it but I kept staring at him between conversations until Armin brought up the conversation about PE.

"So, has everyone got their swimming kit?" Armin asked whilst sounding concerned.

Me and Levi nodded.

Armin looked over at me.
"Eren, can you do PE?"

Levi's eyes widened.

"Why are you both... Shit-"
I never realised, I mean. I packed my bag as if it was normal. I even had my swimming trunks and everything.

But I never realised.
Everyone would see my scars, bruises and wounds.
I felt defeated.

"Hey Eren... I'm pretty sure that they said you have to be in pairs for this weeks lesson." Levi commented.

I smiled.
