Chapter Six

Percy POV

"I don't know guys. She could be anywhere." I paced back and forth in front of Jason, Leo, and Frank

"Dude chill she's probably just at Calypso and Hazel's apartment." Leo rolled his eyes

"Yeah Piper hasn't been home yet. You don't see me starting a search party." Jason said

"Yeah and you aren't even dating Annabeth. Why are you so worried. She's a grown woman she can do what she wants." Frank said

"I-I'm just a good roommate... and I also might have kissed her before she ran off." I said

"What?" They all asked

"Bro you can't play with her emotions right now." Jason said "First you have sex with her and then you ignore her, then you kiss her."

"It's not that big of a deal. It was just a kiss." I defended

"Dude you don't even know half of what's happening." Frank said

"What is happening then? Since you know so much." I said

"We can't tell you. Annabeth needs to tell you herself." Leo said

"You too Leo" I shook my head "Whats going on."

"Nothing." Jason said

"Dude" I said "Someone just tell me what's going on. It can't be that big of a deal."

The door opened and Annabeth walked in.

"Annabeth where were you?" I asked her

"It's none of your business." She said

"We're not even going to talk about this?" I asked her

"No. I don't owe you anything." She said and walked into the kitchen.

"Jason. I'm so sorry I didn't come home last night. I had to deal with some stuff." Piper said running into the apartment with Calypso and Hazel after her.

"It's ok baby. I'm just glad that you're ok." Jason said and kissed her.

I rolled my eyes. "So do any of you know what's wrong with Annabeth?" I asked the girls

"Nothing is wrong with her." Calypso snapped

"God. Take a chill pill I was just asking." I said

"Well don't ask us. Ask her. If you want an answer so badly." Hazel said

"I already tried. It resulted in her storming out of the apartment." I said

"Don't try that bullshit with us. Don't you think she told us the real reason she got mad and left." Piper said

"Whatever But I actually did confront her about why she kept puking in the morning and she wouldn't tell me." I said

"Well she might be more open to talking about it now." Hazel said

"Whatever." I said and walked into the kitchen. "Annabeth can we talk?"

She looked up from making breakfast. "That depends on what you want to talk about."

"Why did you run out?" I asked

"Because you kissed me." She said

"But it's not that big of a deal. I'm sorry if I upset you." I shrugged

"Percy. I can't deal with this anymore. I can't live with you." She said "You can still live here but I'm gonna move out."

"What, Annabeth, why? We can work it out. It was just one kiss." I said

"Percy it wasn't just one kiss. It was a one night stand with the guy I hated. And then he moved in with me. And it was never really going to work out with us living together." She said

"I'm sorry Annabeth but why won't it work? Even if you still hate me we don't have to see each other." I said

"Because, Percy, I just can't escape you. I just need to forget about you and leave." She shouted

"What do you mean you just can't escape me? I never see you." I asked

"You don't get it do you? I thought you were at least kind of smart. But apparently not. If you actually were then you would be able to put the pieces together." She said

"What pieces do you mean Annabeth? We don't even talk or see each other." I asked yelling

"Just figure it out. Or you can ask anyone else here. I'm leaving. Come find me when you figure it out." She said and ran upstairs.

"What the hell does she mean?" I asked them as I walked out of the kitchen

"Bro it's not that hard to figure out." Leo said

"I don't get it." I said

"What all did she tell you about it?" Hazel asked

"She said that Piper knows something about it, that only girls can get what she has, and to state the obvious she was throwing up every morning." I said

"Percy what is going on to me right now?" Piper asked me

"Well you and Jason moved in together." I said

"Oh my god, yes, but why did we do that?" She rolled her eyes at me

"Jason knocked you up." I said

"Not the way I would put it but yes. So do you get it now?" She said

I started to realize what she meant. "What? I don't see Annabeth to be the type of girl who gets pregnant by a stranger. Does she even know who the baby daddy is?"

"Yeah she knows. She's only had sex one time in her life."

"Really? Who's-" I started and then realized "W-what? But I've had sex with her."

"Yes."

I ran up the stairs and barged into her room.

"What the hell Annabeth. Why didn't you fucking tell me?"
