Perrie was currenly inside her study when she heard her cell phone ring. She quickly answered it, knowing that there's only one person that will call her in this time of the day.

"Niall..."

"I have some information about her." Perrie's features became serious when she heard what the blonde-haired guy told her on the other line. "You were right. She was the lost daughter of him. His heiress."

"What else?"

"As of now, that's all that I got. The reason why she got lost and about the contract and other papers, I still don't know."

"I want you to investigate further. Just call me again in case of any improvement." She answered.

"I will." He said. "Oh and by the way, Harry called me last night. He told me to tell you that you have to attend one of your investors' party tonight. You should bring your wife." He added.

"Why didn't he called me last night then?"

"He told me that he couldn't reach you. Maybe you were busy with your wife last night." He teased her. And she got no response from the blonde because of that. "Oh, how's Jade by the way?" Perrie's face became blank.

"Its not part of your job to check on my wife, Horan." She said in a firm tone. Why do her guy friends kept on checking on her wife? First, Harry, then now, even Niall?

"Hey, chillax." Niall chuckled. "You sound like a jealous girlfriend." And he continued to tease her.

"I'm not her girlfriend, I'm her wife. Dumbass."

"Then let me correct myself." The lad cleared his throat on the other line. "You sound like a jealous wife."

"Don't you dare show me your face again or else I'll wreck your neck." She said in a very terrifying cold voice. And Niall stopped himself from teasing the blonde more. She knows what she's capable of doing and she'll do what she said if he continues with the teasing.

"Hey, I was just kidding, okay?" He defended himself. "Okay, I'll call you agai---" And the lad didn't have the chance to finish what he was saying because Perrie already ended the call.

She placed her phone back on the table and massaged her temples. Talking to Niall was always stressful but this time seemed different. She seemed to be pissed at him a little for all the teasing he did for an unknown reason.

She leaned her back on her chair. The blonde thought about what Niall had said. The information they just got was really confusing. 'What're you tryin' to tell me, Dad?' She asked herself. Even if he's long gone, he seemed to be still in control of her life.

Then, all of a sudden, she heard a knock on her door. She looked at it. She doesn't know who on earth would disturb her when she's busy with work in her library. She sighed and made her way over the door. She had no choice since the door was locked and the person on the other side couldn't make themselves inside.

The blonde opened the door and was met by Jade who was smiling at her while carrying a tray full of food.

"Good morning! I cooked these for you. You should eat..." She said enthusiastically. Perrie didn't answer. She just looked at her like how she looked at the door earlier. But this time, it was different. Its like she was memorizing every part of her wife's face because of how perfect it was. Thoughts about her wife filled her mind.

'What is there about her that makes everyone want to be close to her?' She asked herself.

"Uhm...don't you like it?" Perrie was brought back to reality when she heard Jade's voice. The brunette noticed how the blonde just stared at her with a blank expression. Blue eyes scanned the tray she was holding and there Perrie saw what she prepared. It was a typical English breakfast but it looked delicious.

"I didn't know what you'd like to eat today so I just made this." She said shyly. She feels like Perrie was still hurt because of what she did last night and she did this to make up for it. "If you don't like it, its okay."

"I'll eat that." Jade's face brightened because of her response. Perrie took the tray from her and went inside the room. The brunette followed her.

"Have you eaten yet?" She asked her wife. Jade shook her head. "You can join me..." She invited her whilst placing the tray on the table.

"Oh, n-no, I'm fine. There's still some left downstairs." She answered. "Those are for you." She looked down to hide the blush that appeared on her face.

"Why do you keep on turning down my offers? I just want you to join me eat this dish you prepared. Is that too much to ask?" Perrie's eyes became sad but quickly became dark. "Don't tell me you're just shy to be around me again. Don't you have anymore reasons?"

"Its not like that..." Jade said. She feels like she really hurt the blonde's feelings because of how she turned her offer down. Why does she feels like she's really hurt her?

"Do you really hate me that much, Jade? That you don't want to be with me nor see me?" You can sense the hurt in her voice. Did she do this to Perrie?

"I don't hate you. I just...I don't know how to act around you. I feel like everything I do would piss you off. I'm just preventing to do that. Because to me, you are so perfect. To perfect for me, to be exact." She didn't know where she got the courage to tell the blonde that but she did. She could feel the tears threatening to fall from her eyes.

Perrie's face softened when she saw her wife crying. She doesn't want to see her cry especially when she's the reason of it. She hates herself for doing this, for making her wife cry.

She made her way over the brunette and hugged her. And Jade cried even more because of that.

"Hush now...don't cry, please? I'm sorry." Perrie said in a soft voice while rubbing her back. She pulled away to looked straight into her eyes. She wiped her tears away before speaking. "Listen to me...I don't want you to belittle yourself. You're just being you, I get that. And I'm not perfect. Far from it actually. I was nothing and incomplete...not until you came."

Jade didn't know what to say. She couldn't believe what she just heard. And also couldn't believe that it was Perrie who said those things to her.

"Stop crying or I'll make love to you right here, right now." She threatened her and caused the brunette's cheek to turn into crimson red color. "You're blushing..." Perrie chuckled and it made Jade smile. Her chuckle was cute and it was the very first time she heard it.

"It looks better on you when you wear that smile of yours," Perrie said. "Remove everything you're wearing except that smile." And it earned her a smack from the brunette for sounding so naughty.

If only Jade knew that she's only like this when she's with Jade. She can show her other side when she's around her wife.

"You should probably eat now. You're saying such things already." Jade said while shaking her head. And they ate there together. Perrie fed her since Jade only brought one spoon. And they shared the food together.

Things are starting to get better between the two of them. And it's getting clear to the both of them of what they truly are to each other.

"After this, be ready 'cause we'll go somewhere..." Perrie said.

"Where are we going?"

"...I want to date my wife." She said seriously and Jade's heart went wild. There really is something about the blonde that makes her heart race.

She smiled at her and Perrie smiled back. Jade's heart melted because of such a wonderful sight.
