Chapter 56

Briana*|
It's been two weeks since the incident and I haven't been myself. I haven't been going to class and I barely leave the house. I haven't talked to my family or even DJ; the only person I talk to is Monique.

Tonight, Monique and I had a party for Jordan's birthday. We were trying to clean up, but we were too drunk to even stand up straight. Instead of cleaning, we were too busy laughing and sucking helium out of balloons.

"Oh my God, oh my God Monique! Call the guys and tell them to come over!" I said in a drunkenly high-pitched voice.

"Oh oh okaaaay!"

*15 minutes later*

Someone knocked on the door and since we were both drunk off our ass, Monique and I jumped, screamed, then started laughing. I grabbed my balloon and right before I opened the door, I sucked some more helium out of it.

"Lordt, y'all are fine! Come in, come in!" I said.

I ran to the couch and flopped down while Monique danced in a corner.

I was convinced that Briana never wanted to see me again until DJ got a call from Monique saying to come to Briana's house.

When Briana opened the door, she seemed very hyper and she didn't seem to mind we were here. It was almost like she didn't know who we were.

We walked in and watched her run and flop on the couch. Then, we saw Monique dancing in a corner by herself. We found the whole scene hilarious, so we laughed.

"Are y'all okay?" DJ asked laughing.

"Oh yah! We're better than okay! We're good!" Monique said, still dancing.

Her response only made us laugh harder. When I looked over to the couch, I noticed Briana was dancing quietly to herself.

"Are y'all drunk?" I asked.

They both stopped dancing and gasped loudly.

"That is SO mean! Why would you say that?!" Briana yelled.

She then dropped her head back on the couch and started laughing, causing Monique to laugh.

"DEANDREEEEEEEE! Dance with me!" Monique ran over to DJ and fell in his arms.

"But there's no music," he said smiling.

"Yes there is!"

There was no music, but instead of fighting with her, he just danced with her.

"Hey! Sexy stranger!" Briana yelled getting off the couch.

She came over to me, grabbed my arm and lead me to the couch. She pushed me onto the couch and lied across my lap.

"Hi!" she said excitedly. Her eyes were wide and her smile was big.

"Hi," I chuckled.

"Guess what?"

"What?"

"I have a crush on someone," she whispered.

"Oh," I said somewhat disappointed.

"Wanna know who it is?" she asked.

"Sure."

"His name is Grake Bliffin," she said then giggled, "he plays basketball for the Lis Ongeles Clappers! Do you know him?"

I laughed at how bad she botched that up, "yeah I think I know him."

"But I don't think he likes me back," she sighed.

"Why do you say that?" I asked really interested in what she would say.

"Because I'm such a bitch. And he's dating a girl that I hate and he knows I hate her, but he doesn't care. I don't know why he likes her! She stabbed me four times, see!"

She lifted her shirt and showed me her scars. She then grabbed my hand and ran it across them. That hurt. I started to get upset because she wasn't being loud and funny anymore.

"Well then why do you like him?" I asked.

She started smiling again, "because he's cute and he's really nice to me. He's super funny and he smells good, just like you. And his lips, his lips are veeery soft, like rose petals. When he kisses me it's like floating on a cloud," she said closing her eyes and smiling, "and sex with him is like...wow!"

"You had sex with him?" I asked stupidly.

"Yeah. I'm not proud of it, but I do not regret it," she said.

"You seem to really like this guy," I said.

"I do," she smiled, "and I thought he liked me too."

"Maybe he does."

"I wish because I want to be with him."

"So if he asked you to be his girlfriend, you would say yes?" I asked.

"Yes! Yes I would!"

"Really?"

"Yes because he's my boo and we belong together," she said sounding content.

I smiled a little, "you should really talk to him; tell him how you feel. You never know what he'll say."

"You're right," she yawned, "I'll talk to him."

She had just opened up to me and I know she would probably never say these things to me sober. She started to drift off and cuddled into my chest.

"Blake?" she said half asleep.

"Y-yeah?" I was really confused because I honestly believed she didn't know who I was.

"Do you love her?"

A tear managed to fall out of her closed eye. Damn, I felt bad.

"No, I don't love her."

I ran my fingers through her hair and kissed her forehead. I carried her to her room and placed her in her bed. This has been an interesting night.
