Luke: It had been a month since you were raped. You were doing okay, but still having a really rough time. Your mom pulled you out of school and she now homeschooled both you and Luke while he was on tour. Ben and Jack were also with you guys and between the three of them, someone was always with you trying to make you smile. Your mom was in her hotel room grading papers, Jack and the band were outside playing soccer, so you were enjoying a rare moment alone in your hotel room. You were really enjoying it until you felt a sudden wave of nausea. You rushed to the bathroom and barely made it to the toilet. This was the third morning in a row you woke up vomiting and you were scared, because you knew what it could mean. Your phone rang and you answered it. “Hey, sweetie. I am at the store and just wanted to see if you or the boys needed anything.” Your brother Ben asked. “A pregancy test.” You whispered. “Okay. I’ll be home soon.” He said quickly and hung up. Less than half an hour later Ben rushed into your room. You were still on the floor of the bathroom with silent tears running down your face. He came in and handed you the test. You took four just to be sure. Ben hugged you as you both stared at the four white sticks waiting on the counter. The timer went off and you got up to look at them. All four had tiny pink plus signs. “I’m not ready for this.” You turned and cried into Ben’s chest. “It’s going to be okay. You have tons of people who will help you. You aren’t alone.” He held you tightly. The door opened and you heard loud voices. You walked out into the living room to see Luke, Jack, and the other boys in the living room. “What’s wrong?” Luke asked with concern. “I’m pregnant.” You ran into his arms and sobbed. He just stood there for a moment in shock, then he wrapped his arms around you and clung to your shirt. “It’s going to be okay.” He whispered soothingly.

Calum: You were in your room in a sports bra staring at your stomach. You couldn’t believe there was a baby in there. You were a skinny girl so your baby bump was pretty easy to see now. You were trying to figure out how to tell your family. Your mom freaked out when Calum told her he was dropping out of school. How would she react when you told her you were going to be a mom? “What are you doing?” You turned around when you heard your brother Calum. You quickly tried to cover your stomach, but it was too late. “Are you pregnant?” He asked. You nodded and started to cry. “I’m sorry. I didn’t want to tell you because I was scared you would hate me.” You sobbed. “No.” He hugged you. “I’m happy for you and (Y/BF/N). I mean, I wish you guys would’ve used protection, but you both will make great parents.” He reasurred you. You sighed in relief. “How could you say that?” You both jumped and turned to see your Mom and Dad in the doorway. Your mom was crying. “I want you out.” Your dad continued. “What?” You asked. “You heard your father.” Your mom said. “You can’t. I need my mom and dad.” Your voice was full of desperation. “You aren’t our daughter.” Your mom said, before they both turned and left. You turned to Calum and said, “What am I going to do?” He put a finger under your chin, gently making you look at him. “I don’t know. We will go stay with Luke until we can figure something out, but I’m in this with you both. Okay. I’m not going anywhere.” He held you until you calmed down then you both packed up enough stuff for the weekend before walking to Luke’s house. His family welcomed you in with open arms. You, Luke, and Calum shared a room, while you all prepared their guest room for your baby.

Michael: You were scared out of your mind. You were only 17 and you were having a baby. You were living with your boyfriend and he wasn’t being very supportive. He was out all night and left you alone. One night you decided to confront him. “You are never here. What are we going to do when the baby comes?” You asked. “Did you ever think I’m never here because I don’t want anything to do with you or this baby!” He yelled. You realized this was a bad idea, because you now smelled the alcohol on his breath. “Forget it. I’m just going to bed.” You turned to go to your room, but he caught your wrist. “Don’t you dare walk away from me!” He screamed, pulling you close to him. “Please let me go.” You whimpered. “SHUT UP!” He roared, shoving you hard. You hit the bookcase and the books came tumbling down on top of you. “That’s what you get.” He said and you heard the door slam shut. You groaned and slowly got up. You were okay, but you felt blood on the back of your head. You got your phone and called your brother. “Michael, I need you to come get me. I need to go to the hospital.” You said. “I’ll be there in 5 minutes.” He said and you heard his car start. You got up and locked the door just in case he came back. A few minutes later you heard a knock on the door. You checked to make sure it was your brother before letting him in. “Did he hurt you?” He asked, seeing the bookcase. You nodded and showed him your head. You also had some bruises on your body. “Let’s get you to the hospital.” He drove quickly, but carefully. You got checked out and the doctor said you were fine and so was the baby. You both breathed a sigh of relief. You did, however, have to file a police report, which Michael helped you with. You were still scared, but you knew Michael wasn’t going to let him anywhere near you or your baby ever again.

Ashton: There was a horrible storm outside and the power was flickering. You were worried as you were at the hospital with your older brother Ashton. Your parents were out of town with your little brother, so it was just you and Ash. You were 7 months pregnant and your boyfriend and your family were super supportive. You and your boyfriend decided to get married, because you had been dating for the past four years and you wanted to start your family right. You didn’t go on a honeymoon, but instead you just spent time writing letters to your baby boy for various special moments in his life. Everyone was really excited for the baby to be born. You were still deciding on a name, but you had everything else planned out. You thought you were ready until you went into labor. You were terrified because the baby was 2 months early. You called your husband on the way to the hospital and he said he was on his way. It was 4 hours later and he still wasn’t here. You were in extreme pain and you kept screaming at the nurses to give you an epidural. It was chaotic because this was a small hospital and there was a multiple car accident. You finally got your epidural and they told you that you needed to start pushing. “I can’t, my husband isn’t here yet. I have to wait for him.” You cried. “You can’t, sweetie. I’m sorry, but the baby is coming and you need to push.” The nurse told you gently. “No. He has to be here.” You were so scared. “I know, but it’s not good for you or the baby. He will understand.” Ashton encouraged. You knew he was right, so you nodded. He held your hand the entire time. When the baby came out he wasn’t crying. You knew something was wrong. “Is he okay?” You asked, trying to get out of the bed. “Stay in bed.” The nurse commanded as she and the others rushed to get your baby breathing. You panicked and Ashton had to hold you down. Then you heard him cry. You exhaled and started to cry yourself. They came back a few minutes later and a nurse was holding your son. She handed him to you. “Do you have a name, yet?” She asked. “No, can I wait for my husband?” You asked. “Of course.” She nodded and left you and Ashton alone with your son. You both just stared at him in awe. He was the most beautiful thing you had ever seen. You were scared at how small the was, he barely weighed 4 lbs, but the nurses said he would be okay. “Ash, do you want to hold him?” You asked. He coughed, “Um, yeah. Sure.” He smiled nervously. “It’s okay.” You reasurred and helped your brother hold him. Finally, you're husband arrived and he was more than happy to see his and your baby boy laying in Ashton's arms.
