Prologue
A man around the age of 18 walked silently and swiftly in the dark and chilly night, a girl a few years younger walked slightly behind him. Hand in hand the man turned slight and looked at the girl, "Wer'e here (F/n)." a look of sadness replaced the usual stoic look he continuously had. "What do you mean we're here Levi? This isn't home..." Your voice had grown quiet as the two of you huddled in the dark shadow of someones home.
Levi took a deep breath and fully turned to you, he was taller than you, but you knew you were still growing, but still, the man gently lifted your hand up and pulled back your sleeve. showing your bare forearm, Levi glanced upwards, his eyes meeting your very confused and slightly pale face. "This is going to hurt a bit." His voice sounded shaken almost frightened.
Before you could reply, Levi had pulled a long needle out of his back pocket. The syringe filled with a dark blue liquid. He looked up at you and bit the plastic protector off of the metal, and without a moment of warning the needle became embedded deeply into your skin.
You weren't afraid of the needle, nor the pain. You had felt worse the past few years, but whatever was in the needle, now burned furiously up your arm. And next thing you knew, your head was throbbing uncontrollably. The sudden headache causing you to become woozy, you stumbled forward, Levi catching you as you sunk your head in the nook in his neck. "Levi... whats happening?" Despite your aching head and now blurry vision you still managed to keep conscious and form a coherent sentence. "Its nothing-" You cut him off as you pulled away. The mans face full of mixed emotions as he held you at arms length. "Its not nothing you idiot! Why the hell would you drug me if it wasn't nothing?!" You thought you were yelling, but whatever was in that needle made your voice sound quiet and groggy.
Levi frustratingly sighed. "I cant risk taking you with me, so I need you to do me a favor okay?" his voice was cracking but you slowly nodded. "I need you to forget about all we did these past three years. Every single thing we've done together needs to be wiped from your mind, understand?" "Levi, What the hell?!" You were getting worried now, what is he doing? "I can't forget! I love you!"
Tears suddenly welled up in Levi's eyes as he brought both his hands up to your cheeks. You placed your hands over his, as you felt yourself crying as well. "I-I love you to (f/n)... But it has to be like this, Im sorry." He suddenly pressed his lips against yours, the kiss being soft and gentle. A goodbye kiss.
The throbbing in your head intensified as you let out a groan of pain. The world slowly growing darker as you felt yourself sink to your knees. "You won't remember a thing (f/n)." Levi said to you, his voice sounding muffled. "There's no point in telling you how I feel now since it wont matter. But I'm going to do it anyway, and I hope your still conscious to hear it."
Your eyes had closed and your head was slumped forward, your forehead was laid against Levi's neck and you could feel his thin shirt become wet from the tears that spilled from your face. "Ever since I met you, three years ago to be exact, I had instantly fallen in love with you. Fallen in love with the devilish smirk you always made, fallen in love with the way you smiled whenever I complimented you, fallen in love with the sarcastic shit that spewed out of your mouth now and then, Fallen in love with the way you always helped those around you." Levi chuckled as his voice was slowly fading.
Your body was frozen and you couldn't tell what was what anymore. You couldn't remember what was happening, you didn't even remember your name. Your eyes were open, but the world around you was blurred out. You no longer saw Levi's face, you didn't even remember how he looked like. You didn't panic though, you were surprisingly calm. You were tired, and all you wanted to do was sleep. The throbbing pain in your head was dull, whatever sort of drug your boyfriend had injected you with was surely doing its job.
"I love you (f/n)." Levi continued, "I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you." There was deep sadness and regret in his voice. "We can meet again though. You just wont remember who I am. But I'll remember you, and If you find me, then I promise you we can be together."
The world suddenly faded to black.
