The notifications from my phone were so annoying.

I'm so tired of these stupid social media posts.

I turn down my phone and throw it to the floor.

Sarah and I broke up friendly. It's just that it didn't work out for us. We need to focus on our jobs.

We didn't spend much time together lately. She was busy with "Modern Family" and I was with "Shadowhunters".

I'm actually broken. She was my love after all. And now she's just a friend.

We had fun together. But I have to move on.

I wish Kat was here. That little redhead would make me feel better with her stupid jokes.

And that contagious laugh.

I got up from the bed. I'll call her.

I take my phone from the floor and open it. I ignore the social media notifications and go to my contacts.

When I find her name I hesitate a little. Why should I call Kat? Why not somebody else?

I press call.

After the third beep, I finally hear her voice.

"Dom, hey..?"

"Hey... you busy?"I ask nervously, I don't know why...

"No why?" she asks.

"Wanna go grab something to eat at PAUL's?"

"Yeah of course! I was about to order something but this sounds better!" she says happily

"Great, see you in 20 minutes at the reception." I say and hang up.

I don't know why I chose Kat specifically to go out. I could easily ask Matt or Alberto but no. I asked Katherine.

I know her more than the others maybe that's why?

After a quick shower, I dress up and get out of my room.

Kat will definitely be waiting for me, she always come's 3 minutes earlier.

I take the elevator to go down to the reception.

When I get there I see Kat's red hair. Yep, I was right she's already here.

She was sitting on the couch watching something on her phone.

"Hey! McNamara!" I greet her and she immediately turns to face me.

"Hey." She gets up.

Her hair isn't wavy as usual, they're kinda straight falling down to her shoulders.

She's simply dressed in a green shirt and jeans holding her black wallet.

"Shall we?"I ask.

She nods and we walk to the door to exit the hotel.

Toronto is beautiful at night, restaurants and clubs are full. The lights are so bright that they make the sky look darker than it actually is.

"Soo...whats up?"Kat breaks the awkward silence between us.

"Well, I have some news, but you might actually know them."

She looks at me carefully. "I'm sorry.." her eyes had a worry in them.

"Yeah..."

"Hey, how are you?" she asks with concern touching my hand.

"Honestly I feel a blank in my heart." I say and she's squishing my hand tight.

"Well...Bad for her!" Kat give's me a small smile.

I laugh and put my hand on hers. "Thanks"

Later when we arrived at PAUL's we sat on a quiet table somewhere that not a lot of eyes could see cause they were photographers, paparazzi's and a lot of people.

The next hour me and Kat talked about anything. Literally.

And I can say that I forgot about Sarah. Kat made me laugh a lot tonight.

"No seriously the 'I love you' scene in 2x20 was amazing..!" Kat drinks a sip from her sangria smiling at me.

"Look I thought it could sound good, you know Jace saying his last words to Clary..."

That scene had me so emotional that the 'I love you' was so natural to say. I felt Jace's love for Clary.

"I think it was one of our best scenes together! I literally felt like Clary!" she said excitedly.

"I can't wait until we start filming Season 3! So excited!"

I stare at her. She loves the show so much, it's literally her life. Well, I do too! This TV Show has a special place in my heart.

Kat eats her beef balls with such a hunger " Mmm so good!"

"Wow calm down big girl..." she had sauce on her chick.

I take the napkin and go closer to her. I wipe the sauce.

I stare in her green eyes, our faces are inches apart.

"Thanks." she says.

I cough "yeah, eat more carefully" I fake laugh.

"Hey, are you in for bowling?" I ask after a while.

"What now?"

I nod

"I will kick your ass!" she says grinning at me.

"Challenge accepted!"
