Eventually, conversation between Michael and I ceased when the teacher hushed us.

I shoved an ear bud into my left ear, and without thinking left the other on the table.

Michael grabbed the earbud without me noticing, and placed it in his ear.

As usual, I put my music on shuffle, and stared at the word in front of me.

of course, I understand it, but getting me to do it will be the issue.

I mean, it is my first day after all.

Lego House by Ed Sheeran came on for the second time today, and I went to shut it off, but something stopped me.

Next to me, Michael was sitting next to me intently working on his maths worksheet while humming the lyrics softly.

And if humming determined anything, I could tell you Michael has an amazing voice.
