Chapter 3

*New Student*

  The next day at school jeremy was looking for ashley. He ran straight past her and for once jeremy had actually said excuse me. He was looking for her everywhere. He went to the principal and asked him if he had seen her and he said he hasn't seen her since yesterday. At this point jeremy had started to freak out and started crying. Chelsea had never seen jeremy like this.

  As soon as he looked up and saw chelsea staring at him he looked at her with a concering look then got up and pushed her against one of the lockers. " Where is she chelsea, where is she tell me or i'll--"he was cut off by principal lawrence. "Or you'll do what jeremy, she has nothing to do with this, just dont get her involved, ashley will turn up soon." Chelsea started to whimper and jeremy asked her "What do you know about where ashley is please i really need to know i have -----"

  As soon as he was about to finish what he said a young man about chelsea's age came through the door. "Hi principal lawrence may i have a moment to speak with you." Said the boy. " Yes how may i be of service lad." asked principal lawrence. "I've just transferred from springfield high to attend louisville high i'm sure you have been notified." he said looking at the principal. Chelsea was shocked and swore she had seen him before.

  The principal just left jeremy and chelsea by themselves for a couple of minutes and jeremy started again. "Where is ashley, you little whore where is she." he said in a angry voice . the boy heard him loud and clear when he said that. Then out of the blue jeremy was raising his hand to slap chelsea and the boy stepped in between them just in time to catch his hand and stopped jeremy in his tracks. As soon as he did the boy turned his back on jeremy and said,"Hey baby girl how was your junior year i have missed you so much." Then grabbed her by the neck and gave her a kiss on the lips.

  The principal was coming out of the office as he stared at chelsea and the new guy were kissing one another. "What the heck is going on that's PDA if you don't want to be wrote up i would advise you to back away from her Derek Linney." Principal lawrence pronounced. Then derek backed away and chelsea was so shocked that she just stood there just looking at him. Then finally said," Derek your back." She couldn't help herself and gave him a big hug.

  Then he gave her a hug back and before she knew it she started to cry. Derek pulled her away for a moment and said," Baby girl why are you crying." Derek asked. Chelsea was still crying and derek just pulled her back in his arms just holding her until she finally stopped crying. Then the bell rang to go to fourth period. Then when she wiped away her tears and continued her way to fourth period.
