Never fear, my dear, just smile through your pain
Otherwise your despair was all in vain.
For the worst indeed is far in your past,
Although those sorrows will not be your last.
Even as fear and hurt are part of life,
Nobody is constantly in strife.
For with sorrow comes jubilance and love,
Shining in the dark, a heavenly dove.
So weep not as you fall, arise with pride,
Rejoice, and take all that lost love in stride.
Hold your head up and forge a path ahead,
Forget now, or it will never leave your head.
We will love and try, we laugh and we mourn,
We are odd in that sense, gay, then forlorn.

Poetry comes from deep within our souls and reflects who we truly are in our hearts. That is what makes all poems unique. All poems are my own unless otherwise indicated. I might add a few short stories as well -Kaleigh
