Forth's POV

When I slowly regained my consciousness, I felt some pain in the head though I could not tell where exactly the pain was. I could hear noises around me unclear. They sounded shocked and worried.

"Beam ... you have to calm down!" I recognized that voice. It was Sharp. "It was my fault! From the beginning I should have listened to him." The familiar voice trembled and was terrified.

"Do not worry, Dr. Beam. It was not your fault and Forth will not blame you."

"I'm the only one responsible for this, Sharp. I am so sorry."

"Beam ... you need to relax a bit"

"Everything was because of me. It's all my fault!"

My head was killing me. The last thing I remembered was a very loud sound inside my ear. Then I was fainting. Was there something hitting my head? When I opened my eyes, I saw a man standing next to me in a white uniform. Of course, that person was a doctor.

The doctor then said, "It's a relief that all the X-ray and MRI test results looks good. Forth has a hard head. There was no sign of a skull bone fracture or an internal bleeding, only a deep cut and bruises. And don't you worry. The wound has been carefully sterilized and properly bandaged. I have prescribed some painkillers and antibiotic to reduce the pain and prevent any infections. So he can recover quickly."

I used all my strength to slowly try to get out of my bed. Thank goodness that I still had some strength left. I guessed this place must be a communal hospital. If I was not mistaken, the conversation I heard earlier seemed to come from outside the room. They were definitely Beam and Sharp.

I sighed heavily. How could you blame yourself Beam, my wife? The door was open, the person who enters was the one I longed to be with......... Beam. He looked at me up and down before talking to the doctor. After a short discussion, the doctor left the room and then Beam walked toward me.
