Psalm 23.
Groaning as I turned my fat self to the left side of my bed, I reached out for my Bible, opening just one eye, to make sure it wasn't my novel that was the same size as my Bible "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. [2] He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. [3] He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. [4] Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. [5] Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. [6] Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever".
Rounding up my prayer and sliding into my shorts and PJs blouse, I danced my way to the my sky blue bathroom and brushed my teeth, humming to 'intentional'-Travis Greene.

fatttttttttttt.
"Adaobi!!" Chinaza hurriedly jumped into my open arms, she hugged me with so much enthusiasm, I could smell the scent of jasmine oozing from her hair, "I can't still understand the joy, she gets when she sees you,she literally jumped out of the tub, while I was scrubbing her" my mum smiled and went into the kitchen to start up breakfast.
"Hope you said your morning prayer" Chinaza nodded and snuggled closer into my chest (she considers me, a pillow..I guess) "you love me, don't ya" I teasingly tickled her, which earned me,a load of laughter and more snuggling, "Ada, please get ready for school" I made a face to Chinaza, which made her giggle "okay, momma".

taffffff.
"Have a blessed day, hon" "Amen" I replied, optimistically. Desmond College was a dream come true for me, I got in after several attempts, I was pretty determined, the school had the kinda tech that I had been wanting to get my hands on.
Walking towards my locker and taking out my regular notebooks, I smiled at the redhead who was heading my way, "loving your wrap gown,Missy" her fake country voice was quiet perfect, "thank you Funke and quit that voice, you wouldn't want to get into trouble," Funke smirked and locked her hand with mine "I've got a big God by my side, I can't get into trouble, and if I so happen to, he'll deliver me" she replied in her country voice (fake), I laughed as we walked into our lecture room.

Afffftttttt
".....And to understand the early stages of the growth of the fungi, y'all should browse through the library for this set of books", it took Mrs Iyetule, twenty mins to write the list, eagerly waiting for the bell to sound off, I stared at Funke and saw her counting down, "really? Is it that bad", she pouted "yea, that bad,"
I chuckled.
Funke yelped as we heard the bell, which earned her a glare from Mrs Iyetule and she was appointed the first person to explain, in full details, all that she gathered from the six textbooks assigned to us, I couldn't hide my laughter, Funke's face looked like it was about to crack open, Mrs Iyetule smirked,
"you better get to reading,Missy" Mrs Iyetule mimicked Funke's fake country voice.
(The whole school was a fan of Funke's country voice).

Cafeteria.
As I grabbed an apple, sliced bananas, sliced pineapples and a bottled water, I moved away from the line, Funke kept grumbling "that's pure wickedness, what did I do to deserve this", I gave her the look (we had our own in-house look, a pout could mean something utterly different from its original meaning, and mine, right now, was a duck face mixed with a pout, which means; really? You obviously know what you did)
She frowned at my face "whatever".
We sat, prayed and focused on our brunch.
