Y'all I started taking care of my hair last year . My hair was a disgrace and bitch only used grease once a week and sulfur8 shampoo with a natural hair no no, Sulfate.
When I started taking care of my natural hair These are the dos and don'ts I followed:
1.Moisturize your hair regularly, like every fucking day. The method I use is the LCO or LOC method.
It's that simple, but there's a thing you need to know and that is what is a sealing oil and what is a moisturizing oil.
😐 I use to put conditioner in my hair and then seal in the moisture with olive oil. My hair was dry and it lost its curl pattern my shit was fucked up. I now use; Cantu leave-in conditioner, water, Argan oil or castor oil. My coils spring to life like a stripper on a pole when a nigga in a suit walks in and you know he got money.
2.You must wash your hair Every week or Two weeks, don't play white and wash your hair everyday cuz god can't help you after that.
As washing your hair is a 'Do' Don't! Use shampoo especially if it has in any forms of sulfate. It will strip your hair of natural moisture and minerals. Straight out, your hair gon be dry and Crispy. I know y'all like bacon but that texture is for food and not your hair.
However if you do use shampoo, use Small amounts and only use it when your hair is extremely dirty. Try washing your hair with conditioner . It makes a difference I'm using : Cantu leave in conditioner.
For deep conditioning I currently started using ORS Hair Mayonnaise and Cantu deep treatment masque.
3. Do not over manipulate. Put down the comb! I use to (😩my ass talking buy 'use to' I still carry three combs in my bag and never use them) carry a comb and comb out my puff whenever it shrinks. That's a no-no your hair will shrink, its something that happens naturally.
Y'all my shrinkage bad asf.
Y'all see that? My shit worse.
4. Aye you, yeah you the reader. Are you sleeping with your hair out at night? If you are slap yourself two time.
Twist your hair at nigh and cover with a satin bonnet or scarf.
5. Eat healthy. Healthy eating promotes healthy hair. Eat lots of protein, it will help your body as well as your hair. When I was trying to get a booty 😑 I ate eggs, chicken breast , tuna, tilapia and salmon and everything went to my hair.
6. Try supplements like Biotin. I ain't shoving it down your throat and don't bash me because I take pills. I want Long healthy hair and I want it now.
