Max pov

I woke up hoping I'd see y/n in the woods at 3. I walked to the mess hall. I got some food and sat down.
"Hey max" Nikki said
"Hey where's y/n?"
"Uh...I don't know"
"Neil?"
"Sorry no idea"
"Hmm"
I mostly ignore the conversation and think where could she be. She typically doesn't sleep in like this and if she did David would wake her up.

Time skip

It's lunch and she's still not here! Then again neither is Nikki...
"Hey Neil-"
"Don't know where they are"
"Fine"
I get up and heading towards the door and heading into the woods. I go where I was supposed to meet y/n at.

Smol time skip

Like 10 minutes later I heard rustling. After a second Nikki came through the clearing with y/n behind her...wearing the ring
"Its...a little creepy" She said
"I know" I said laughing a little bit
"So..why am I here"
"Because...I want to apologize I do like you and I felt bad but it's like I know more about you now and I can help"
"How? You can't help what you don't know"

"And how do you propose that?"
"By...spending the rest of the day here,talking,goofing off,pranking

"Ok well...as a 4 year old my parents split up and I was given to my mom who didn't want me in the first place...she remarried and he had the bright idea that I'm more of a slave than a kid I had to learn how to cook and clean...everything I would be abused,hated,-"

I felt her thumb wipe my face when she held it in front of me it was wet I slowly rase my hand to my face and noticed I was crying.
"Ok ok" I push her off "That's enough"

Y/n pov

"Well I was a kid for the most part of course always the more professional life. Later in life there was abuse and I had to be perfect
There was party's,business meetings,actually working,EVERYTHING  A ADULT HAS TO DO I DID! I had to learn how to do taxes and bills and-and take care of all the things my mom and dad refuse to do. I hated having to do all these things and school! It was horrible."

I cry a little bit and max grabs my hand tightly. I hug him hiding my face in his neck. He lays his head on mine hugging me closer.
"It's ok"
"No its not I'm tired of them and tired of having to act that way"
After a few minutes I get up
"I-im sorry"
"It's fine"
"W-what that?" I say pointing to his hand
"M-my ring" He mumbled
"Aww" I grab his hand "It's cute! I love it" It has the same silver spiral and fake gold zig-zaging
"Heh" max said
"What?"
"I love you"
"I-i love you to" I said
After a while of starring at each other and holding hands we start to head back
"Sooo...do you trust me now?"
"Not fully I uh..as much as I love you you still invaded my privacy"
"Looks like it have some work to do then" He said smirking
I smile
Just before camp I stop him
"What is it" He asked
"This" I kiss his cheek and walk to my tent falling on the bed and going to sleep happy
