Fighting in the trenches

With their lives on the line

What they are actually fighting for

Is quite hard to define

Is it really for freedom?

Or for pride and glory

Because what happens behind the scenes

Is a whole other story

It is a dangerous game

A game to gain power

But in truth you have to think

Will it be worth it once it's all over
