It's now been 3 months since I moved to Indiana with my dad. Don't worry, Taylor doesn't hate me, yet. I've changed, a lot since you last heard from me. I now dye my hair blonde instead of brunette. Taylor was sceptical at first but now he says I look great. He is really great. The hate has died down, I decided to make a new twitter to get away from the few people who are spending their lives trying to ruin mine. But you don't care about this, you want to know what happened when I got home- Home in Huntington Beach anyway.
So where did I leave off last time? Oh yeah, I put in my headphones and drowned out the noise of the world. Funnily enough, no noise of the world really helps you fall asleep. So that's what I did the whole way back. When we arrived, Taylor was cautious about going into our house. I guess the gentleman side of him was bursting through, masking the funny, outgoing side of him.
"Come on Taylor!" I called from the door, he was still stood by the car. He took a deep breath and then ran up to meet me. I pushed open the door to be greeted by my mother stood with open arms. It was as if Taylor read my mind because he strode past me and stood face to face with my mother.
"Mrs Potter, it's lovely to meet you at last. I've heard so much about you!" He said elated. She didn't respond, she just smiled warmly at him.
"Come on Tay, let me show you my room. You can help me pack" I said, not making eye contact with my mum whilst dragging Taylor up the stairs.
"I always knew you'd be dragging me up to your bedroom sooner or later" Taylor smirked
"Yeah yeah" I laughed, opening my bedroom door. "Sorry about the mess" He laughed at that, even though I wasn't joking. My room looked like a pigsty and the dozens of cardboard boxes in all shapes and sizes certainly did not help.
"Wow, if you think this is messy you better not come to my house straight away"
"Shall we start packing?" He nodded, emptying the contents of my bag onto my bed and then he did the same with his bag.
"You better put these in the wash" I nodded, picking up the contents and storming out of the room. Why does he always have to be right? I came back to find Taylor lying on my bed.
"Make yourself at home why don't you?" I teased which also made him laugh. I walked over to my wardrobe "We are making a taking pile and a throwing pile" He nodded obeying my orders "I'll throw the stuff I'm keeping to you and you fold it okay?"
"I can't fold to save my life"
"Fine I'll fold, you stand here" I said swapping places with him. He was a little reluctant at first but a stern look and folded arms really helped to get him moving. He was actually really helpful. We got all of my clothes sorted in that evening. We finished around 10. Lets just say I have a lot of clothes- the majority of which I took with me.
We stood all the boxes at the side of the room and changed into our pyjamas. I found Taylor an old shirt of my Dad's so he wore that. We woke up to the sound of shouting downstairs. We crept downstairs to see what all the fuss was about.
"YOU CAN'T EXPECT ME TO BE FINE WITH YOU TAKING MY DAUGHTER AWAY FROM ME"
"SHE'S MY DAUGHTER TOO"
"AND THAT IS THE BIGGEST MISTAKE I EVER MADE"
"Mum. Dad. Stop!" I yelled "Dad don't listen to her, even if you weren't my dad I'd still go with you, I'd go with anyone to get away from HER!"
"Sky, you know I'm sorry" She pleaded.
"Save it. I'm done with you." Those words made me think back to how horrible I was to Amy.
It wouldn't hurt if I saw her one more time would it?
