You were truly my whole world,
The sweetest thing I've ever held.
Your love was truly so special,
Nothing could compare to it at all.
You were my beautiful baby,
And it was your love that saved me.
I don't care what people say,
You were there for me each and every day.
People will say you were just a pet,
But I loved you more than anyone I've met.
No one will ever understand,
Unless they've felt the pain firsthand.
I wish I could cuddle you one last time,
Tell you that you'll always be mine.
But don't worry baby you're not alone,
My heart will be your forever home.
I don't know where you are right now,
But I know my love will find you somehow.
For my love has been with you from the start,
And you've left yours with me in paw prints on my heart.
