It was finally spring break and you couldn't help but fly forward onto your bed in pure bliss. This past year attending U.A. High was stressful, but you wouldn't have it any other way. You reveled at the wonderful feel of cotton caressing your face and your comforter began to almost let your body sink into the mattress. Being back in your dorm gave you a sense of security and freedom that you didn't have with all the classes that were shoved in your face.
A soft sigh passed your lips as you closed your eyes and let the exhaustion take over. Just a few more seconds and you'll be--
"HEY, [Y/N]! I HAVE SOME EXCITING NEWS FOR YA!"
Hold that thought.
You sat up, annoyed at how Kirishima thought he could fly in here whenever he wanted without your consent. You normally weren't an angry person, but he disrupted a meeting with the object of your affections.
Before you could even kick him out properly, your eyes suddenly latched onto one of the tickets he held in his right hand. What was that and what was it for? Why were there six tickets?
"Guess who has tickets AND backstage passes to go see Kendrick Lamar, a certain someone's favorite rapper?" He waved both the tickets and the backstage passes in your face, enjoying how your head followed each and every one of its movements. This was too entertaining.
No way. He couldn't have.. Did he really?
By the smug look on his face and the tickets that gravitated towards you accidentally due to your Quirk, you knew he wasn't lying.
"I could kiss you right now if you weren't like my brother." You whispered softly as you let your fingers slowly caress the paper with Kendrick Lamar written oh so boldly across. Kirishima was amazing and you couldn't think of any way to thank the boy for granting you this once in a lifetime opportunity.
He snickered with obvious confidence before backing out of your doorway. The concert is this Friday, so at six, the six of us will meet up at the training ground after we're all dressed for the occasion. Don't forget to bring cash!" With those final words, he closed your door and departed quite happily while listening to your squeals of excitement.
After you calmed down, you held the VIP pass high in the air while running a hand through your [H/C] locks. This was no joke. You were really going to meet Kendrick Lamar in less than four days. Hugging the ticket and the backstage pass to your chest, you turned your lamp off and snuggled into the duvet.
Wait. Something was off. Did he say six of you? Who else was going to be attending the concert beside you and Kirishima? You didn't give it too much thought and you finally retired for the night.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, at least you knew why you felt off and it made your cheeks flush into a new shade of crimson, almost matching the half shade of the source of your embarrassment's hair. At exactly six o' clock on Friday, you ran down to the training grounds in a pair of black denim distressed shorts and a white crop top, a red and black flannel tied securely around your waist. On your feet were a pair of black combat boots. Nothing too flashy, but that's not why you were embarrassed.
The other four peple beside you and Kirishima were Midoriya Izuku, his girlfriend Ochako Uraraka, surprisingly Bakugou Katsuki, and your longtime crush, Todoroki Shouto.
Even that wasn't enough to embarrass you. Somehow, you two were matching outfits.
Todoroki looked like a full course meal in the tight white tee and the black skinny jeans with the exact same flannel tied loosely on his hips. The only difference between you two was that he wore regular black Chucks. He let his eyes wander over your outfit before gazing down at his own.
You were gonna die tonight. How could Kirishima keep such precious information from you?! How was he even able to convince him to coming along?!
Glaring at the smirking redhead, he swung an arm around his best friend's neck before stomping off to the train station. "Alright! Let's head to this concert!" You were gonna wring his scrawny neck when this was all over.
A hand pressed firmly on your shoulder before you looked up at a beautiful pair of heterochromatic orbs, his usually stoic expression replaced by something somewhat.. gentle, maybe? "Don't worry about him. Let's just focus on having fun tonight."
You couldn't argue with that. Giving him a flustered smile, you followed the small group with Todoroki staying right by your side with his hands folded deep in his elbows.
The entire ride to said concert, you engaged in excited conversation with the only other female about the songs he would perform and the stunts he would most likely do. Your knuckles had skimmed across Todoroki's several times and each time you jumped and used the same hand to cover a flustered cough, your face reddening quicker than Midoriya's face before he asked Uraraka out.
Todoroki wasn't exactly aware of your feelings towards him, but he least knew that you were flustered every time you two were within five feet of each other. For some reason, it upset him more than anyone because he found you to be decent enough to have a conversation with.
Noticing the somewhat awkward aura surrounding the two, Kirishima "accidentally" bumped into Todoroki and snickered when you scrambled to keep him up, your small hands resting on the center of his chest and the lower part of his back. You were really using your Quirk to make sure he didn't fall on top of you, but being in his arms suddenly didn't seem so bad.
You mentally thanked Kirishima as the Half-Hot Half-Cold user gently wrapped his arm around your waist for the exact same reason why you were clutching onto him: so you wouldn't fall over.
As you two basically cuddled, Kirishima snickered before being smacked on the head by Bakugou. "Dumbass."
---------------------------------------------------------------------
You walked home with Todoroki, a bag full of signed merchandise by Kung Fu Kenny himself swinging happily in your hands. The concert was amazing. You rapped along to every song and even got to touch his hand as he edged closer to the stage. Let's not even get into the backstage meet and greet after the concert.
"You seemed to have a bunch of fun tonight. I've never seen this side of you, but I find it very cute." Those words made you freeze in shock.
Did Todoroki just call you cute?
You wiped at the burning blush rising on your cheeks before basically speed-walking to your dorm in record time, Todoroki chuckling quietly behind you. He wasn't lying. Your behavior towards him was very adorable and timid like a child awaiting to see their favorite cartoon character. It strangely stirred something in his heart and he couldn't help but tease you mercilessly.
Once you reached your dorm room, you awkwardly twirled a strand of hair around your finger while your foot tapped behind you in anticipation of something, anything at this point. You looked up at the gentle gaze of Todoroki before feeling your blush reach the temperature of Bakugou's explosions. He's never looked at you like that.
"Well, this is goodnight [Y/N]. I'll see you around." He ruffled up your [H/C] locks before burying his fingers deep within them and pulling you up towards his face. His lips lightly brushed against your own before fully planting themselves on your forehead for a chaste kiss.
You were frozen on the spot, your eyes wide and your body stiff. Did he.. just..?
Your fingers touched your forehead then trailed down to your lips, watching as he walked back to his dormitory with a hand up to wave back at you. You scrambled into your room, tripping over nothing and laying on the floor.
Rolling onto your back and staring at the ceiling, you let a squeal escape your lungs and you curled into a ball of pure happiness. Not only did you meet Kendrick Lamar, but you kissed Todoroki. What a night.
As you crawled into bed, you wondered how Todoroki would act towards you now that the cat was out of the bag. A smile spread wide across your cheeks as you were filled with dreams of your half and half classmate and potential boyfriend.
"Damn.."
