two.

"Bella, come on, I need to get to work."

"Oh, your driving me?" Arabella asked surprised.

"Yeah, cause I'm definitely not buying you a car." He laughed thinking it was hilarious.

Arabella put on her trench coat followed by her bunny mittens. Before she left the house she slipped on her combat boots ready to face the cold outside air. Even after the years she's spent in England, the cold bitter air still surprised her.

Samuel threw on his coat and made his way to the car while Arabella followed close behind. She took a quick peek at a man walking towards a cabbie, she couldn't make him out, but his coat reminded her of the mysterious man she met a few days ago.

She slipped into the passenger seat and Sam ignored her completely as he talked on the phone with one of his mates. Her stomach growled in the car and he glared at her.

"Sorry, I'm just hungry."

He didn't give her time to eat breakfast so she'd have to buy some by the lab.

He drove uncomfortably fast down the street in a manner she never liked. He knew it made her uneasy which was part of the reason why he did it.

"Alright, get out here and walked the block, I don't want to get out of the highway."

"But the cars-"

"Run." He kissed her cheek and she nodded, it's a dangerous things to run in traffic, but she did so, even with her bad leg.

The lab came into view, she had already been here before she see how her work environment would be like. She loved what she saw, it was very calm and the people were intelligent and nice.

If you don't want to be bothered, no one will bother you. She went through the machinery of the getting to her station. Changing into her lab suit she went into her new office. Today she was analyzing the corpse of an old women who had died a day ago, it wasn't her first time working with dead people, but she wanted to make a good impression on her co workers, to show them she wasn't a slacker and she took her work seriously.

"Arabella Ladina Baelli." There was a women handing out everyones door tags, it felt good to see her name up like that. It made her feel important for once. One of the reasons she hated her name was because of the way it slipped off of Sam's tongue, like her name was a curse.

She got to work and began cutting away on the poor lady. At first she was grossed out, but honestly who wouldn't be? She was just cutting around the heart artery, which was one of the hardest part. One wrong move and there'd be bloody everywhere.

Something was wrong though, when she kept looking at the woman's eyes, she couldn't help but to notice an odd green contrast.

She check the women's file and no one had documented why it seemed to be like that, meaning these sign must've just started showing.

She took her scalpel and cut away under the eyes lid.

It was grotesque, why had no one picked up on this? The coloring made her suspicious. She had seen this before. She went over the the women's toes and low and behold she was right. She took her microscope and took a better look at the space between the women's right big toe and pointer toe, there was a tiny puncture mark.
