Castiel was too focused on what he threw onto the lake.

Will he be found? Will I get caught? What if his family hires another hitman and kills me?

He was too focused in his thoughts and empty staring to hear the crunch of gravel from nearby footsteps.

"Hello sunshine. Fine night, isn't it?"

Castiel jumped at the sudden voice. He spun around quickly to see the terribly familiar piercing green eyes and gelled back dirty blond hair.

"Dean" Castiel said like it was venom on his tongue.

Dean tilted his head before shifting his arms a bit.

That was when Castiel noticed the limp -obviously dead- body in his arms.

"Is this seriously the best place to dump a body!?" Castiel growls exasperated.

Dean shrugged nonchalantly. "I guess. Mind assisting?"

Castiel looked at him with narrowed eyes. "I mind a lot.  Mostly because I loathe you."

Dean shrugged and tossed the body in the water. "Can't blame a girl for trying."

See, Dean and Castiel are both hitmen. They both work for the same boss. The only odd thing -in this situation- is the fact they absolutely loathe each other. Well, more like Castiel loathes Dean. Dean just finds him amusing for some reason.

Castiel, after all these years has pretty much forgotten why he hated the man with suspiciously good looks. But he's not willing to admit that, nor the fact that he finds Dean attractive. His pride  wouldn't accept that.

At this point both men were staring at the placid lake with only a ripple here and there.

Castiel felt a bit overdressed with the fancy suit and blood red tie and all.

"Hey Cas?"

Castiel ground his teeth together in annoyance at the nickname, but had long given up on correcting him.

"Yes, Dean?" He growled.

"Why do you always freak out like your first kill. On every kill?"

Castiel scoffed, but silently admitted he was right. "Don't exaggerate" he muttered, adjusting his tie. (It didn't need to be adjusted.)

"I know that look on your face" Dean says matter-of-factly.

"Do you now? What is this 'face' I make?" He challenges.

"You bite your lip, scrunch your eyebrows and nose a little, and you clasp your hands behind your back" Dean lists smugly.

"Assbutt" Castiel muttered under his breath.

"Heard that sunshine!" Dean calls, strolling a few feet to Castiels right.

"What's so interesting over there?" Castiel questions, not even calling out the choice of pronoun in replace for his actual name.

"I dunno. Thought I saw a duck" Dean shrugged.

"Amazing" Castiel replies sarcastically, walking over beside him.

Dean glanced over at him. "Do you still hate my guts?" Dean inquires.

Castiel sighed, his resolve crumbling. "No Dean. I forgot years ago why I hated you" he admits with a low sigh.

Dean actually looked surprised. "Just so you know, I never hated to. I just put up a facade so you thought the feeling was mutual" Dean mutters.

A sudden thought popped up in Castiels head and he started chuckling.

Dean looked at him with a lazy stare. "What's so funny?"

Once Castiel was able to resolve himself to told what was funny. "We're two hitmen, pouring our hearts out like highschool girls" Castiel mused.

"I thoroughly believe in no chick-flick moments, but I'll make an exception to this one" Dean's hums.

"Will you now?" Castiel smirks.

Dean looked back at him, his face held a sly grin.

People say there's a fine line between love and hate. Well, both of them were pretty sure that line had been crossed into the love area instead of hate.

Because in just a few seconds Dean smashed his lips to Castiels and slowly pushed Castiel into a tree, where he continued to ravage his mouth with the harsh kiss.

Castiel told himself to feel surprised, but he honestly wasn't and quickly kissed back roughly.

When Castiels ears hears the faint call of a siren through the haze of lust, he quickly pushed Dean away. Dean stumbled back surprised.

"Sirens" Castiel hissed, panting softly.

"Right.. fuck. Number, here" Dean quickly scrawled it down and slammed it into Cas's hand and raced off to his previous car.

Castiel looked at it dazed, before jogging to his own and quickly leaving. The cops had already found both bodies. They both knew they had to get out of dodge, and fast.
