Richie's POV

"It's your fault you're never home!" I hear my mom scream at my dad.

"Because you're always a slut, Madison!" My dad yells back.

"Fuck you, Jack!" I sigh as they yell at each other even more. "You're never even home to help Richie with his homework!"

"He don't need help!"

"What's the point?! He needs you!" I grab my book bag and quietly open my window. I gasp when I hear something shatter and I look at my door.

They keep yelling, only louder. Perfect? I jump out my window and roll onto the grass.

I walk down the road to Y/N's house, humming the Ghostbusters theme song.

When I reach her house, I climb the tree and knock on her window. She's knocked.

Her arm is hanging off the side of the bed and she's drooling on her pillow. She's so cute when she sleeps.

I knock again and she opens her eyes and looks at the window confusedly. She yawns and wipes her eyes. "Richie?"

I nod and she gets up and stretches, her shirt lifting slightly and showing her cute belly. She sighs and walks over, opening the window.

"Your parents arguing again?" She asks, laying back down on the bed.

"Yeah..." I mumble.

"Wanna watch a movie and get your mind off it?" She asks. I nod and set down my book bag. She puts on a Disney movie and crawls under the covers.

"Why are they arguing this time?" She asks.

"Cause my dad isn't home enough." I sigh and lay beside her. She looks at me and sighs. She takes off my glasses and her face blurs slightly.

She wipes them off on her shirt and places them back on my head when I make a wild decision that I knew I'd regret.

I kiss her.

Her eyes are shocked for a second, but then her lips are connecting with mine, like two puzzle pieces.

"Wow..." She laughs and looks at me, rubbing my cheek softly.

"Yeah." I laugh softly. She kisses me again and cuddles into me. I'm shaking because I'm so happy and nervous.

And it couldn't have been with anyone better...
