(Y/n)'s POV

It has already been two days since I last saw Ji Dwi. I actually found the ride peaceful and in a way, comfortable. It felt like I could go to sleep without any worries of being abused or nightmares of terrifying monsters.
But of course, when I returned home, my good mood was ruined. People say seeing your family was a good thing, but I didn't think that was the case.

"(Y/n), what are you doing standing there in the middle of the path? Come on, let's hurry and buy the medicine that father wanted," exclaimed Ah Ro.
"Oh, right."

While going through the marketplace, I couldn't help but feel as if someone was watching my every move. It could've just been my imagination but the feeling would not go away.

Soo Ho's POV

(Y/n) was, surprisingly, not going to the forest for once. Could it be because she was with Ah Ro, Soo Yeon's only friend? Well, I felt a little bad that I dated all the girls so Soo Yeon didn't get any friends but it couldn't be helped.

"Look at that, Soo Ho is stalking the psychopath. Doesn't the stalker and the psychopath sound like a good couple?" Ban Ryu asked with a smirk.
"Shut that mouth of yours."
"Says you."
"Why don't you go pick on someone your own size?"
"Oh, are you scared because I'm bigger than you?"
"No, you're simply too small for me."

He glared at me, indicating his growing anger.

"Want to have a match then? I'll prove to you that you are no bigger than a bug."
"Fine, don't whine when you lose," he replied.

(Y/n)'s POV

Geez, all the girls got too excited for a simple match between Ban Ryu and Soo Ho. It was just a match. Was this really something to get excited about just because two 'popular' men were involved?

"I hope my brother wins. If it was sword's play, he'd definitely beat Ban Ryu," exclaimed Soo Yeon.
"Hey Ah Ro, I'm going to go to the forest-"
"*pouts* Can't you stay for a bit? Sun Woo's in Soo Ho's team."
"*sigh* Fine."

I didn't even notice that Sun Woo was on Soo Ho's team until Ah Ro pointed it out. That was most likely due to the fact that Soo Ho was annoying, causing me to have a lack of interest in the activities he was involved in.

Was I supposed to sit here until the match finished? Ugh, this would definitely be a terribly long time. These things were boring in my eyes...unless...

"Soo Ho, let me play!"
"Yah, stop annoying me! Girls can't play and why the hell are you bothering me?! Go ask Ban Ryu!"
"No, I don't want to! Let me play!"
"What's happening here?" asked Sun Woo.
"She wants to play, but-"
"Then why not let her?"
"...are you stupid?"
"Don't worry, we can just take that guy out," Sun Woo replied while pointing at Ji Dwi.
"Even he is better than that girl," said Soo Ho.
"Actually, I have to go attend to some business. Let her play, this is urgent," exclaimed Ji Dwi.
"But-"
"Thank you! I'll repay you some day!"

Soo Ho glared at me before leaving with a groan. I smiled and poked my tongue out at him. Sun Woo laughed before walking off to talk to Ah Ro.

Ji Dwi's POV

After changing, I stood near the field with Pa Oh. To be honest, I didn't really feel like playing and then a perfect opportunity came when (Y/n) demanded that Soo Ho let her onto his team. How did I even end up on his team?

"You must be so embarrassed that you can't play well. Isn't that why you decided to leave the game?" Pa Oh asked.
"Be quiet, don't spread untrue rumours."
"Then...you must have a thing for that girl-"
"Do you want to die?"
"No, sorry. Please forgive me."

Suddenly, someone ran past me as if they were the speed of light. Was that (Y/n)?! Well, it was a good idea to let her play instead of me.
She had the ball and had shot into the goal, winning a point for their team. I looked over at Soo Ho, who seemed to have mixed feelings. I guess you could say that he was glad his team was winning, but didn't want (Y/n) in the team. Why did everyone hate her so much? She...wasn't that bad.

"Go (Y/n)!"

Geez, that girl's scream was loud. I looked to my right. It was that girl, the girl beside Soo Ho's sister. What was her name? Kim Ah Ro? The daughter of Kim Ahn Ji, the physician? I was actually a little surprised that she got along with (Y/n). Pa Oh said that everyone hated her.

I focused on the game. She had the ball again and had passed it to Soo Ho, who shot a goal. I smiled. She looked cute when she was happy.

"What are you smiling for?" Pa Oh asked.
"No reason."
"Because it's love at first sight?" he asked with a smirk.
"...shut up."

He just chuckled and went back to watching the game. Why couldn't I leave her alone? It felt as if I had to get involved with her... I wasn't sick, was I?

"And the winner is Soo Ho's team!" announced Pi Joo Ki.

Sun Woo ran up to Ah Ro and high fived her, (Y/n) did the same.

"We won because of our amazing teamwork, don't you think?" Sun Woo asked with a grin.
"Yeah, you two were great," replied Ah Ro.

Suddenly, (Y/n) looked my way and gave me a smile. She mouthed a 'thank you' before leaving with Sun Woo and Ah Ro. I couldn't help but smile myself.

"Yep, he's definitely in love..."
"Shut up, you know it's not true."
