We finished our set and we still had about 15 minutes to spare.
"Do you guys wanna cover a song?" I asked. The crowd screamed. I giggled and turned to Michael who was on the right side of me.
"What do all of you guys listen to?" Michael asked. Michael then realized you couldn't hear shit of what people were saying.
"Fuck! Do you guys listen to Panic! At The Disco?" I asked. Probably only half the crowd screamed. Good enough. "Do you know the song Lying?" More screams.
"Guys, Caelyn loves singing this song so fucking much. When she stays over at my house some nights you can here her singing it in the shower." Robbie laughed.
"You little fucking stalker!" I laughed. Micheal nodded, agreeing with Robbie. "This song is pretty sexy, so you know. Be ready for me to dirty talk you." I smiled and started to play.
Is it still me that makes you sweat?
Am I who you think about in bed?
When the lights are dim and your hands are shaking as you're sliding off your dress?
Then think of what you did
And how I hope to God he was worth it.
When the lights are dim and your heart is racing as your fingers touch his skin.
I've got more wit, a better kiss, a hotter touch, a better fuck
Than any boy you'll ever meet, sweetie you had me
Girl I was it, look past the sweat, a better love deserving of
Exchanging body heat in the passenger seat?
No, no, no, you know it will always just be me...
I sang the song. After I finished that, we played That Girl by All Time Low, then I thought I'd talk to the fans, having about 5 minutes left.
"I really hope you guys love Marianas Trench's performance! If any of you guys are going to the next show, I think we'll do our songs, then we'll get you guys to tweet us some songs to cover. Tonight is our first show of our first legit tour!" I said. The crowd screamed.
"We'll be at the merch stand after Marianas Trench preform!" I smiled. Louder screams.
"Thanks for the wicked awesome time guys!" Michael said, giving the rock on sign.
"Bye!" I waved and we all left stage. Josh sat on top on his Jack-in-the-Box.
"I hope you realize your cover of Lying turned me on, a lot." Josh chuckled. I smirked at him.
"I'll have to sing it more often. Good luck." I said before walking off.
~
"Good night Toronto!" Josh yelled into the mic, doing the bows with the guys. The lights shut off and they came off the stage. I waited back stage with Michael, him making stupid 'yo momma' jokes. I'll admit, a few of them did give me a chuckle.
A pair of sweaty arms wrapped around me, lips kissed down my neck.
"This is literally how you greeted me when you got out of rehab." I said, thinking back to the memory.
"Damn, that was a long time ago. I've got to go. Maybe later you can sing me that song again." Josh winked before walking off. I rolled my eyes. Michael and I made our way out to the merch stand. The first person I greeted was a probably 16-17 year old girl wearing one of our shirts.
"I'm such a big fan of you guys! Also, you and Josh, perfect together." She smiled. I chuckled and tossed my sharpie around.
"Oh, thanks! He's kind of a massive dick but you got to love him." I replied. We both laughed. She didn't seem nervous, just excited. It was nice.
"I don't want to be that fan that like, cries and asks for pictures, but do you want to take a picture with me?" She asked.
"Sure, I didn't catch your name." I smiled as she took the photo on her phone.
"Cath. I'm sure other people want to meet you. I guess I see you at another show!" She waved and got out of the crowd. Wow, I hope all of the fans are like that.
~
"Fuck, I'm exhausted." Michael groaned. I leaned my head on him as we walked to the bus, causing him to stumble. He flashed me the middle finger.
"I'm staying on the Marianas bus. I saw Robbie have a beer, he snores when he drinks beer. See you in the morning." I said as I made my way over to the bus.
"Bye babe!" Michael shouted.
"Fuck you!" I shouted back, knocking on the door of the bus. No answer.
You in the bus? Anybody in the bus? I'd appreciate a bunk to sleep in, thanks. -Porcelain
Oh sorry, I'll be right out. I thought it was a fan. - Josh
Not long after that text, Josh opened up the door.
"Morning." Josh chuckled. It had just turned 1am.
"Morning Ramsay." I laughed. When I sat down on the couch my phone went off. It was a random number that neither of us knew. "Hello?"
"Hi Jones. I hear you're in the area." I somewhat familar voice said. Oh gosh, I knew that voice from somewhere.
"And this is?" I asked.
"Oh, Ryder. You wouldn't happen to remember me? Would you?" He asked. I nearly dropped my phone. Josh mouthed 'who is it?'.
"Ryder! Oh shit! How'd you get my number?" I asked. Josh made a surprized face.
"My wife had it and I hoped that it'd still be your number!" Ryder replied.
"Ryder, who exactly is your wife?" I asked.
"That would be Ella." He said.
