On Anna's birthday, with the help of Elsa, Kristoff made a ring of ice that would never melt or break, and he proposed to her that day. He said that he would always love her, as long as the ring never melted, and that he would never leave her, as long as the ring never broke. And on their deathbeds he told her that he had personally asked Elsa to make the ring unbreakable, like his love for her, he knew it would last forever.
