The Legend of Aphrodite

Chapter 7

Here I am with a big problem, there's a snowman here and he's just staring at me then finally he said: "Hello there, who might you be?". I answered with "...Aphrodite" I have no idea who this is and I don't like it, I feel scared. Then the snowman bent down closer to me and nicely said "Are you lost little princess?" and "where did you come from?". "...I'm ....playing hide and go seek... right now, ...who are you?" I said. The snowman told me that he was a prince too! Everyone around here must be a prince, then I forgot about the game so I got out and headed for the door. When two adults blocked the door and the lady said: "Did you say that your name is Aphrodite?". I said yes and then she went towards the snowman and whispered in his ear. I didn't care to listen so I faced the man in front of me and asked who he was and he said "I'm...Tomaki and... the umm..that lady is Yona we're...personal guards of prince Haru" he spoke very softly and turned red very quickly. When he said this he bent down so I could hear him, I asked while he was finishing "Why does your hair cover your face? It looks funny. Can you see through?". He got red again maybe cause I asked a lot of questions "I...ugh...". I didn't wait for him and then I parted his hair and saw a pretty face so pretty he looked like a girl.

"You're really pretty, like a girl," I said, he got red as a tomato, again. He does that a lot, then he grasped my hands and his hair fell back over his eyes and the lady named Yona-chan came over. "Well Miss Aphrodite, where would you like to go now?" she said, I thought about it and thought that I was already bored with the flower ladies and the tall funny man was scary so I felt like staying with a snowman, Tomaki-chan, and Yona. So I said that and the snowman said: "Well, might as well let her, we've already seen her I'll just have to talk to my brother and try to explain it was an accident". I didn't understand what he said but all I thought was that I have new people to play with! Just as I was about to tell them my stomach made a loud "Growl!" sound and the room went silent, "and maybe we should feed her too, Yona please get some food for Aphrodite". Just like that she left the room and then the snowman sat at his desk and that left me with Tomaki-chan. I played with Usa-chan and Tomaki-chan and Usa-chan was happy to meet Tomaki-chan and said he was pretty. Then I went over to snowman and was going to introduce Usa-chan when I saw that he looked both sad and mad. I decided to say "why are you sad and mad snowman?", he was confused when I called him that and asked why and I said: " you have hair like snow and you're a man so you're a snowman". When I said this he smiled and laughed and turned to me and lifted me up to his lap and placed me there. Then and placed Usa-chan on the desk and then he took out paper and pencils so I could draw. 

Then after Yona-chan came and we had some yummy food, we had sandwiches and tea in pretty dishes. I wanted to have a tea party for everyone and so we did. Everyone was happy and eating on the bay window. Usa-chan had some food in Tomaki-chan's lap and I ate in snowman's lap. 

Snowman is very nice I like him very much I might even start calling him Haru now even though he'll always be a snowman to me. Then after a while, we were interrupted by the tall funny man he came in very upset and was yelling at snowman Haru. " Haru! I told you not to go near Aphrodite and here I find you have a tea party with her!" he yelled. I grew very scared and everyone stopped eating and stood up and I got Usa-chan and hid behind snowman Haru. "It was all an accident she came in on her own and I found her in here!" shouted snowman Haru back, "That's no excuse you should have sent her back immediately! Aphrodite come here!". At this point, I am terrified all I could do was clench on Haru's leg. The tall funny man now the tall scary man yelled at me one more time but I didn't move. "Fine then if you prefer to stay with Haru the, by all means, do so, see if I care!" said the tall scary man and then he left the room stomping as he left. After that I was scared and Haru bent over and told me not to worry, that he will gladly take care of me. I was so tired over what happened that I fell asleep and Haru carried me to my room along with Tomaki-chan and Yona-chan. I wonder what will happen tomorrow I guess I'll just wait and see.
