Title: Not His Girl
There were two things Harper Lynch wasn't expecting when she made out with an attractive stranger at her Aunt's wedding. One, that he would show up on her doorstep two weeks later as the son of an old family friend. Two, that he would be staying in her freaking house, right next door to her freaking room.
If living together isn't enough, Duke enrols in Harper's high-school for the year, and immediately earns the status of the senior heartthrob. Suddenly Harper, the girl who keeps mostly to herself and spends a lot of time in her room watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer marathons, is the envy of every girl in her year. Not only her year, her whole school.
Harper actually couldn't care less and despite the fact she has insisted she has no interest in Duke, she is still subject to the wrath of jealous, catty bitches and the admiration of wide-eyed, naïve freshmen. It really doesn't help that Duke is constantly flirting with her in his own irritating yet charming way.
Harper refuses to be yet another conquest, another notch on Duke's one-night-stand belt, but is that what Duke wants her to be? Or does he want more?
Freaking amazing. I was hooked by the first (albeit really long) sentence in the blurb. Making out with an attractive stranger at a wedding? Ooh. That practically spells H-O-T. So, you know, it's a little cliché but I got over that pretty quickly. Such a cute, beautifully written story that I would recommend to everyone who loves Teen Fiction and Romance. *ahem* me *ahem*
So anyway, a shout-out to the amazing closet_anarchist for this splendiferous, awesomely hilarious story that I loved. It's incomplete at the moment, but with 16 parts already it makes do for constant read-agains until she updates. :3
