18. Endless Love

"Hey!" I laughed. Manda squeezed me tightly.

"Oh! I hate Matt and my parents for not telling me that you're here!" Manda said, finally letting me go. She looked me up and down and her mouth fell open. "You look beautiful!"

"So do you!" I giggled and sat down next to Josh. I looked at all of the girls outfits. Absolutely stunning. The guys looked pretty damn good too. (A/N Outfits at the end of the last chapter.)

"Caelyn Jones, how the hell are you?" Matt's father asked. I chuckled and smiled.

"Pretty damn good, Mr. Webb!" I replied. He laughed at me and continued to talk to his wife. I sat beside Megan.

"You look amazing tonight. Did you do your makeup? It's rad." Megan asked. I shook my head no.

"My makeup stylist did it. Her names Lacie Delan. She's really got at makeup and such." I smiled.

"Oh, cool. What does that tattoo say?" Megan asked. I looked at my wrists, trying to see what some of the many she was talking about.

"What one?" I laughed. She pointed to the words on my wrist. It read,

"I love that. Any meaning?"

"Yeah, It's kind of about deciding to be friends with Matt in the first place like god knows, 11 years ago." I chuckled, trying to remember that first date I met Matt. Matt loudly clinked his wine glass and stood up on his chair.

"I have a announcement!" Matt shouted.

"Matt, you're not 3 anymore, you don't have to announce when you need to go to the potty." Kevvy made fun of Matt.

We all laughed and Matt shot all of us the middle finger. He got off the chair and went down on one knee on the floor, facing Nicole. I grabbed Josh's hand tightly. Even if I didn't like marriage myself, proposals still made me cry sometimes.

 "Nicole Arbour, I love you with the bottom of my heart. That'll ever change. You make me the happiest man in the world. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?" Matt asked, pulling out a ring. Nicole nodded her head a billion times saying yes. A single tear slid down my face. My best friend is getting married! Josh kissed the top of my head.

"This could be us if you weren't such a pussy." Josh whispered in my ear.

"Fuck off, Matt's engaged!" I whispered back.

The night went on and on. It was full of laughs and congratulations, all of us hinting at Mike to propose to Megan next. Then the conversation of kids came up.

"So, when are you two going to make us some grand-children?" Matt's mother asked them. I sat silently. Josh's hand was sat on my thigh, it always made me feel safe for some reason.

"We, uhm, you guys won't tell anybody, right?" Matt asked. Everybody answered with a yes and a nod. 

"I'm pregnant!" Nicole smiled. I suddenly looked over at her wine glass that I thought was filled with white wine, but when I took a closer look at it, it was only water. I ran straight over to Matt, giving him a massive hug.

"Oh my god! My best friends getting married and having a baby!" I said quietly with a few tears running down my face, god, this was just a happy crying night for me.

"I know! She could have a miscarriage so please don't tell anybody outside of this group." Matt whispered in my ear. I nodded and went to go congratulate Nicole, telling her Matt will be a terrific dad. I sat back down at my seat. After Matt and Nicole got congratulated by everybody, Matt's parents started to talk to everyone else.

"Kim, Ian, any for you?" Mr. Webb asked. Kim just laughed and shook her head. Then they asked Mike and Megan.

"Oh, my son Tristan's good enough for now." Mike laughed.

"What about Caelyn and Josh. I know you two have just gotten back together but any thoughts?" Mrs. Webb asked. Everybody sharply breather in, thinking they knew our answers. Before Josh could say anything about 'no they're all devils' I blurted something out. Something that was so stupid I had no idea what was wrong with me.

"I might not even be able to have kids." I said but instantly regret it. Some people gasped and others mouths dropped. "Oh, I, uh, I, uhm." I tripped over my own words.

"Caelyn Marie Jones! We need a reason!" Matt said loudly.

"Well, I had a miscarriage a long time ago and the doctor told me there was a big possibility that I can't have kids, with all the shit wrong with me and such." I explained. Josh grabbed me by the arm and pulled me to the hallway where that bathrooms were.

"You never thought you'd fucking tell me this!" Josh whispered loudly.

"I wanted to keep it a secret because it scared the living hell out of me. I had just left fucking Vancouver and I was a mess." I said back in the same loudness.

"Wait! Hold up! This was my child? Were you just going to raise it by yourself and never told me I had a kid? Fucking great, Porcelain." Josh said a bit louder.

"I was going to go back, thank you very much! If you want to know, I'll tell you all the details." I looked down at my feet. Honestly, mad Josh was not a good Josh.

"Yes! Yes, I want the fucking details!" Josh said.

"Okay, I lost it 2 months in, I was just about to pack up and leave. Raine was pregnant at the time. Uhm, I think the doctor said there was a 65% chance I couldn't get pregnant again... The miscarriage was really fucking painful, thanks for asking." I replied. Josh shook his head and breathed out rather obnoxiously.

"Anything else you aren't telling me?" Josh asked.

"You know I had meaningless sex with Michael a while ago... The father of Raine's child died when Raine's daughter was really young... I'm the godmother of Raine's child. I was really depressed when I left. Oh! New one, I had your name tattooed on me. Got it covered up though... What else? I fucking love you." I said.

"I don't know how I put up with you, Porce!" Josh replied. I ran my fingers through my hair.

"Maybe I didn't tell you because a part of me knew you'd react like this." I whispered. It was strange, all the sudden, all of Josh's anger was gone. He pinned me up against the wall and kissed me passionately.

"Fuck, I'm sorry. I love you."Josh mumbled into my lips.

"Josh, we can't exactly have sex here. Let's go and finish our night." I said after I broke apart.

"Later?" Josh asked. I chuckled and nodded, fixing my dress.

A/N i saw mt last night and they were fucking amazing as usual. sorry i haven't been updating. i just got obessed with the book looking for alaska (can you say depressing book?) and me and my mom drove nine hours with in two days to see that god damn band so I haven't had time. I'll update a lot more in the summer.

(P.S Josh played a verse of a new song that he only had a verse written of last night. it was rad)
