Chapter 0: The Invitation

Sitting upon a chair...was a young man. Human in appearance, but on closer inspection you'd see he'd have pale skin with slight green shade. He was sat upon a large chair, looking outside a window. However what he saw wasn't green grass, mountains, the ocean or even a desert or snow. What he saw...was space. A dark canvas peppered with many lights called stars and circular bodies of mass called planets.

In his right, dark gloved, hand he had a joystick. With notable pushes or pulls he changed the view he saw for himself. He was pushing it forward, causing the view of his world to go forwards. Stars, and celestial bodies pass him by, as if he was in hyperspeed, until a white swirl mass approached him "ah...there it is, the milky way. This is the new galaxy that I have heard off. Computer, begin analysis of the milky way" on the window a green virtual circle, surrounded the milky-way and encircled around

"ANALYSIS COMPLETE EMPEROR"

Before the Emperor was a virtual screen that seemed to hover in the air. With a graceful wave of his other hand, he went to scroll through the information put before him. He then made a sigh "no wonder this galaxy has never surfaced before" he pushed forward on the joystick guiding his view to go 'inside' the milky way until he saw a series of nine spheres, of varying sizes, orbiting a giant orange ball of fire "The milky way is home to a system known as the solar System. A series of nine planets...only one capable of supporting life" with tweaks and tugs at the joystick he zoomed in on a planet of a distinctive blue and green until it covered the whole window

The Emperor stood up "hmm...a very interesting planet to look it. It's very vivid in colour. Computer, analysis the planet"

"THE PLANET IS KNOWN TO THE INHABITANTS AS EARTH. A PLANET HOME TO THE SPECIES CALLED HUMANS. IN TERMS OF UNIVERSAL POWER MINIMAL, AND THREAT LEVEL ZERO"

"That is strange indeed. And in terms of evolution they are still considered infants...to many of us. They have barely begun to travel the cosmos. Yet now...it is become the newest candidate"

The Emperor stood up and held out his hand. A holographic symbol appeared depicted a dark planet, with two rings around it and two black lightning bolts, crossed, behind it "the grand Celestia, a competition of universal proportion where warriors, representing their home world, fight in amazing battles of strength, wit and sometimes as well as honour. The winner will ear the prestige as the greatest warrior alive...and a world to call their own" a pssshh sound occurred followed by dull footsteps

"Emperor, you wished to see me?"

This came from a young woman who again looked human with only her pale blue (light-blue) skin saying otherwise along with her un-naturally long hair which hung near her feet. The Emperor turned round showing his bright green eyes "Empress, there you are. I need you to show me the warrior that will represent this planet...called Earth"

"As you wish" Empress held out her hand, to which a hovering virtual keyboard appeared for her to type on "I have been rechecking the scouters to make sure no malfunctioning was present" a black screen covered the window "but I can indeed say one warrior is registering a power level capable of entering" after a few key presses an image occurred

"So this is the warrior?" he said with a tone of intrigue "Quite young one isn't he?"

Upon the black screen was an image of a young boy. He was teenager with a head of messy black hair and brown eyes. He wore a uniform of a smart dark green jumper over a white t-shirt and dark pants. Emperor observed him "hmmm...a human boy"
