Yuki smiled at Haru and me as we all exited the school the next day. Yuki smiled. "Akemi, will you be returning home today?" I smiled. "Yep!" I said, twirling my hair, which was now down to below my waist. I'm rather glad Yuki is the student council president, and not Takei... Yuki won't say anything about my hair. Yuki turned to Haru. "Hey, Haru... do you want to stay awhile?" He smiled. "Yeah, Akemi, Momiji, and I have almost no homework." I smiled and nodded. "Yup!"
As we opened the door, Shigure greeted us. "Hello Yuki, Kyo, Tohru, Akemi, Haru and Momiji." Yuki pulled me aside. "Akemi... I need you to help me find something in my room." I shrugged with a smile. "Sure! Let's go look!"
So we went into Yuki's room and I went right to his bookshelf to inspect it. It was dusty as hell, as always. I began stroking the dust off of the spines of books. I look to him. "What are we looking for exactly?" He winced. "It's not really an object we can look for..." I frowned at him. "What do you mean?"
He rolled his huge purple eyes. "You and Haru are close right?" I nodded. "Well yeah, we're cousins of course we're close." He took a step close. "But just how close are you?" I frowned. "What is that supposed to mean?" He took a step closer, about 6 inches from me. "I think you know what I mean. Remember how close we were during summer vacation." I winced. "I remember that..."
He nodded and took a step even closer. "I wonder if you're really that close." I sweatdropped and slightly pushed him away. "C'mon, it's already been 10 minutes... Can we quit screwing around. What are you really looking for?" He put his hands on my hips and I let out a smal gasp in surprise. "Just what I said. I'm doing this to help you two, I swear!" Before I could do anything, he placed my lips on mine. And I did what any girl would do in this situation; do absolutely nothing to the dude and spaz out.
I look at the clock. It's already been 6 minutes, what is taking the so long? I stand up. "I'm going to go find out what's keeping Akemi and Yuki." Tohru looked up from the tea she was preparing. "Okay... tell them the tea will be ready." I nodded, smiled, then walked upstairs.
As I walked past Yuki's room, I heard them talking. "Can we quit screwing around?" Akemi's voice came from behind the door. What? Screwing around?! I walked back over to his door and listened in on the conversation. "What are you really looking for?" She quizzed. I heard her gasp. "Just what I said." What did he say?! "I'm doing this to help you two, I swear!" After a couple seconds of silence, I slammed the door open. GUESS WHAT I SAW!!!
Yuki was kissing Akemi! My sort-of-maybe-possibly-not-but-still-might-ish girlfriend! Before I could do anything, I shoved the short rat off, wrath consuming my being. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING, YOU BASTARD?!" She held up her hands. "Haru... maybe you should-" I growled at her and pointed at her accusingly. "DON'T RATIONALIZE THIS, YOU BITCH!" She looked incredibly offended as her mouth dropped open and her purple eyes grew large. I suddenly wanted to take back what I said... but I know I'm still black.... and black Haru is uncontrollable.... and incredibly pissed off.
I growled. "You like him still, don't you?! You like him because he's normal! He has one personality, and he's not some bipolar freak!" She bit her lip. "Haru?" I began walking away. "You love white Haru, but you'll never accept me!" She suddenly feel to her knees and grabbed my knees.
"I took my baby on a Saturday bang..." I looked at her. Seriously?! Is this the time to be singing?! She looked unsure of herself at the moment. "Boy, is that girl with you? Yes, we're one and the same." She gulped. "Now I believe In miracles, and a miracle has happened tonight." She looked up to me. "But, if you're thinkin' about my baby it don't matter if you're black or white!"
"They Print My Message In The Saturday Sun I Had To Tell Them I Ain't Second To None And I Told About Equality And It's True Either You're Wrong Or You're Right But, If You're Thinkin' About My Baby It Don't Matter If You're Black Or White I Am Tired Of This Devil I Am Tired Of This Stuff

I look up to Haru, nervous. To be honest, I was surprised to see a smile on his face. He grabbed my face and kissed me. I pulled away and looked at him. He smiled. "I love you, Akemi..." I laughed and embraced him. "Love you, too, you idgit." I faced Yuki as we hugged. There was a big smile on his face. Haru began walking downstairs. Yuki patted me on the shoulder. "Congratulations Akemi...." I smiled and kissed him on the cheek. "Thanks girly boy." The last thing I saw was an irritated face as I continued down the stairs, jumping onto Haru's back.
