Nathan's P. O. V.

"Sorry Lahli, um Anna I was wondering if I can talk to you for a minute." I question. Interrupting Anne and Lahlani's conversation.

"Uhh, yeah? Is something wrong Nathan?" Anna questions back furrowing her eyebrows looking at me.

"Yeah everything is fine. I just need to talk to you in private. Lahlani we'll be right back I just need to show Anna something" I rush out already a little frustrated.

Lahlani only nods as she goes and takes a seat on one of the love seats. Pulling the new iPhone I had gotten for a few days ago. Their was no reason why she needed that burner phone still it took me for ever to convince her but she finally went along with it after some convincing.
We walk out to the front yard closing the door behind us.

"Okay, what is it? I didn't see the ring did something go wrong?"

"Yes and no. Listen you know how at Lahlani's baby shower her ex husband's brother and his mom showed up"

"Yes, and I know it was wrong of me to say all those things to that despicable woman but she deserved it." Anna explain crossing her arms.

"Well after that something happened to Lahlani."

"Something happened how? Oh you talking about her going into labor I know I was their."

"No not that. Lahlani didn't even know what Lilly was talking about when she had asked her about our uninvited guest. So I asked Lahlani myself to see if this was all true after Lahlani had the twins and she didn't even know who David was. Anna I am starting to think there may seriously be something wrong with her. And I don't know what to do. Its like she lost all memory of the past few years of her being with David." I explain the best I can wanting it to make sense.

It was quiet for a second while Anna just stared at me wit her eyebrows furrowed.

"Okay, Nathan are you sure? Do you think this has anything to do with the accident?"

I let out a sigh.
"I already talked to her doctor they ran a few tests. And they came back negative. So... If there is something wrong with her but it has nothing to do with the accident." I say running my hands over my face.

Can't have one normal day this shit is so frustrating.

"Oh... I think I know what the problem is but I just need some time to speak with her if that's alright with you?." Anna says making her way back up to the front door.
I quickly nodded before rushing out a yes.
As long as it can help Lahlani then of course it's a yes.

While I stayed here in the same spot not knowing what I can do even though I wanted to help I wanted do something to help Lahlani so bad but I can't. It pains me so much to see her like this.
It's like she In fragile state and I can't really do anything about this as far as I know for now.

In a way I feel like this is completely my fault but I know better now than to blame myself for everything.
I just wish I knew what was wrong. I really hope Anna is right.

Blinking a few time I turn around and look at the colors that were forming in the sky just above the many trees that surrounded this town. Seeing the wooden bench next to the door I slowly make my way over to it before taking a seat letting out a breath.

Anna's P. O. V.

"I don't understand why everyone keeps asking me the same question over and over again. Like I've told everyone else, I do not know who that is." Lahlani rolls her eyes at me before giving me a look of annoyance.

"That's fine but let me just ask you this, before you came town you lived in Arizona. Why'd you leave?" I ask furrowing my eyebrows trying to read her face while taking notes down my notepad.
Before looking back up at her.

"I came out here to see you silly. Well that and I wanted to visit the home town my mom grew up in. I mean the bakery was doing really well so I thought why not." She laughs waving her hands around smiling.

I only nod. I knew it. I knew everything that was happening would be too much. But ignored it again. I ignored my gut feeling once again.
