That night, Caleb and his mom came pick me up at my apartment. It was about a 5-minute ride to the restaurant. When we got there, it was packed. We had to wait about 30 minutes for a table, so we went across the street to the Versace store. In the store, we saw Bruno Mars and we said hello. Then we went look around the store. The buzzer for the restaurant was vibrating so we walked back to the restaurant and got a table.
When we sat down we ordered drinks and an appetizer.
I suddenly just said, "That kiss though. You could see sparks out of that."
He replied with, "Yeah, I hope we can do that again soon. Maybe tonight."
"Yeah, me too."
"You wanna come to my house after supper?"
"Yeah, that's a good idea."
When our appetizer came out, all I could think about was our kiss and if the sparks from that kiss would only be there that time or if those sparks would be there every kiss after. When the waiter came back to get our order, he asked for a picture with Caleb. Then, Caleb said the sweetest thing. He said, "I'm sorry. I can't take a picture right now. I'm with the love of my life and I want to give her all the attention she deserves. I promise I will come back tomorrow for that picture. Thank you."
The waiter said, "Okay, so you guys wanted the Dinner for 2 for $10?"
Caleb replied, "Yes thank you mister."
When we got our food, we just stared at each other. Then, he reached for my hand. We started holding hands and eating. After we were done eating, we were walking out and I told him to take a picture with the waiter. Then, we caught an Uber to his house. Since he paid for the dinner, I had to pay the ten dollars for the Uber ride, but of course he wouldn't let me.
When we got inside, we went to the living room to watch Netflix. We decided to watch Season 5 of Stranger Things because he had never watched it. We were at about the 10 second mark of the first episode when he started to kiss me. Remember how I was worried about the sparks being gone? Well, they weren't, they increased.
