Carnal's POV

My mind was more busy trying to figure out anything to do with this lab and why it is here. 'I wonder why this place is here?' I thought to myself. Achelo had glanced at me after catering to Zax's anxiety.

"We should leave here. I don't feel this is the best of places to be either." Achelo stated to me and I nodded but this place still intrigued me.

We ended up leaving and once we were out of the lab temple place we left back to town. Achelo seemed rather glad about the success while I more kept trying to figure out just what that lab was utilised for.

We eventually got home and rested. "I tell you what though Carnal, that temple place is very scary. I dunno what else could be inside of it but I would hate to know how dangerous it could be. From now on we should avoid it." Achelo told me and I agreed though my curiosity had other ideas.

The next day

I had awoke rather early and noticed some form of envelope near the door. 'mail comes early I guess?' I questioned in my mind.

Achelo had woken up and noticed me with the envelope. "Hmm we got mail. That usually comes every friday, it is only Thursday however." Achelo said curiously and then he went and got the envelope from me and opened it in a swift motion.

Achelo then went on to read the letter. "This letter is to inform you that I wish to join you in your endeavour to adventure and to help others. If you wish to meet then I shall be waiting in the lily meadows to the south of the village." Achelo read the whole letter and then I glanced at him.

"Shall we go then?" I asked curious of what we shall be doing. Achelo gave me an uncertain looks. "It could be a trap." Achelo told me and then all that was on my mind was the uncertain outcome.

Many ideas floated inside of my mind as Achelo packed some necessary items for this little trip. "Just in case use this." Achelo handed me some sort of blue orb.

"It is an escape orb. Use it and it will transport you back here to our base." Achelo explained and I packed the orb away.

We then set off and walked through town, though it was rather empty, going toward the meadow we were meant to meet the writer of the note at. "Carnal, make sure to keep your guard up, we are getting near the meadow now. The meadow is home to some rather perky bug types however they also have some deadly poison so dont get too close." Achelo explained and warned.

I took his advice as we walked into the meadow. Most pokemon in the meadow were grass types and some bug types. One pokemon stuck out however.

This pokemon gave us a grin as we approached. "Well I guess you did get my letter after all." He said to us two in a rather soft tone.

"Yes, well we couldn't get past the curious letter and someone willing to join and help us. It is a surprise it would come from a gengar however." Achelo stated in a mature tone.

The gengar chuckled a little, it unnerved me a little bit, "Yes and that is the basic reason why I asked via a letter. Ghost types arent all that accepted of out in these parts." The gengar explained.

Achelo gave a rather sympathetic look at the gengar. "Same as adventurers. Will you tell me your name?" Achelo asked the gengar.

"My name is Riga." Riga told Achelo and then he smiled. "I am honestly quite glad we have gotten to meet." Riga told us.

Achelo did a simple nod. "Yes well I agree. I was at first uncertain but after meeting you I do in fact feel as though I wish to have you join my team, Riga. So you are now a member of my team." Achelo told Riga and then gave him a badge.

Riga grinned and did an odd thing with his tongue. I felt happy so my eyes glowed yellow. "Lets get back to base shall we." Achelo stated and then started to fly back towards the base while Riga and I walked back.

Riga looked at me in interest. "So did you dye your fur that colour?" Riga asked and I shook my head.

"No but at the same pace I don't understand how my fur became like this." I told Riga and he blinked and was clearly confused.

We kept on walking and as we did I noticed most of the villagers looking pretty darn scared. "They don't like me and never have." Riga explained to me and I looked at him.

"You don't seem bad and nor do you have an evil aura. Maybe they just have one of the most common fears. The fear of the unknown." I explained to Riga and he smiled then hugged me.

I could tell he was happy and I was as well. We kept hugging for a while though I quite enjoyed it but we did have to catch up to Achelo. I stopped the hug and we continued going to the base.

We did get back and Achelo had already been placing stuff back away in cabinets and such. "Wow this is a nice place that is for sure." Riga stated with a grin.

Achelo nodded. "Well adventurers should always have a base for all their needs. We also have enough food stocked up for three." Achelo told Riga. "Snacking is something to keep to a minimum however." Achelo added.

Riga nodded and then unpacked his little sack bag. I observed and saw that he had a few interesting looking trinkets. "I myself did a bit of solo adventuring. Nobody wanted to make a group with me, so I collected up items from my adventures. Some of the items are rather useful while others would be useless." Riga explained to us.
