x chapter one x

i was scrolling through my youtube recommended when i suddenly got a text from my best friend melanie. 

melanie: beccah i need you to come over right now! something important just happenedhgunagua

beccah: okay okay im on my way now jeez haha

i put on my black veil brides 'fallen angels' hoodie before i put my headphones and laptop along with batman pajama pants into my black backpack, because everytime melanie wants me to come over, she means she wants me to stay the night. 

i guess now is  the time to tell you a little bit about me. my name is beccah. i am currently 18 years old. i fell in love with music because it helped me through a lot of dark times. i'm pretty "emo" i guess. i have raven black hair and icy blue eyes. i get my eyes from my mother. my full name is rebeccah paige gaskarth. yes, the alex gaskarth is my father. basically, he's always doing things for his band, all time low, resulting in him never really being around. i was always left with my verbally abusive mother. she was fine with my dad's style, simply because he was famous for being the way he is. but as soon as i grew up and decided to take after my dad in his alternative style, she would always belittle me without my dad knowing. when i tried to tell him, he wouldn't believe me. i still love him, but i can't help but to have at least a little hatred for my mother. my favorite thing to do is sing, but i doubt i'm going to ever get as far as my dad. i've taken an inspiration from black veil brides. they were my favorite band since i was about 10. i've never seen them in concert but i've been wanting to as soon as i found out what warped tour is. anyways, back to the story.

i walked out of the doorway to see my mother asleep. 'perfect', i thought. she would always have to criticize my outfits before i leave the house. i made my way out the door and down the street where i turned right, only to see the black veil brides tour bus fly past me beeping the loud ass horn! i guess they saw my hoodie! i waved at CC and jinxx who were sticking their heads out of the bus. 

"WOAH" i said out loud. in my mind i was still trying to process the fact that THE black veil brides just waved at me. AND beeped the horn. i tried my best  to push that to the back of my mind as i crossed the busy street, which melanie's house was right across from. i crossed the street successfully, and knocked on the door of mel's house. not even one second later, i was greeted with mel at the door. she looked SUPER excited about something...............
