The night, after our first dance, was the most magical event in my life. I couldn't deny no more how it came to be so heartfelt for me. Travis made me his princess. He made me his most important gem.

"Did you like it, prinsesa?" he called me at the middle of the evening.

Siya ang naghatid sa akin sa bahay. Before he dropped me off in our house, we went at the Town Center to have some dinner. Ngayon, sa tagal naming nagsama noong isang araw, masasabi ko talaga na masarap siyang kausap. Although, he would always make fun of me, he never failed to make me laugh in the end. Hindi na nga namin napansin ang oras, eh.

He's the one initiated for us to go home. Siya na mismo ang nagkusang putulin ang dinner namin noon at ihatid na ako sa bahay. Gustuhin ko mang isipin na siguro'y pagpapa-pogi niya lang yata iyon kay Dad, but I think he isn't.

Images of us dancing while hugging each other were still vivid and fresh for me. I couldn't help not to smile like an idiot.

"Hindi. Hindi ko nagustuhan," I lied, biting my lower lip to suppress a smile.

I heard smirked. I could imagine him shaking his head in my mind. "I'd like to thank Batang for making my day to happen."

Kumunot na ang noo ko. "Batang?"

I heard him nod. "When I've learned that we will be having an outreach program again with their institution, I called his Mother Superior and told my plans. Nakipagkita na ako kina Batang, bago pa nangyari ang program natin sa mga bata."

My eyes went open-wide. I was stunned and my lips half-parted. Seryoso?

I heard him chuckle. "Speechless? Hmm?"

I scoffed. "Hindi, 'no?" then, rolled my eyes.

He chuckled again. "I've asked our teacher to have the theme for prince and princesses since kids like them love fairytales. Ako na rin ang nag-isip ng concept and all."

Mas lalo akong natulala. So he really planned all of this? At ginawa niya iyon sa kabila ng pagiging busy niya?

"I grabbed to opportunity to have a bonding with Batang. And of course, to have you, prinsesa," aniya, namamaos ang boses.

I felt a warm hand caressing my heart. This guy would really make me feel my heart swell and tender. Para akong lumulutang sa alapaap. Ang sarap sa pakiramdam.

"Prinsesa..." maya-maya'y basag niya sa katahimikang pumagitna sa amin. "I will not be seeing you for this week..."

The fast beating of my heart stopped. Ang lahat ng ligayang nararamdaman ko'y nawala agad. "B-Bakit?" dumiin ang hawak ko sa phone.

"Business matters..." he said. "Sorry, prinsesa..."

Lumungkot ako sa ideya. Nito na nga lang kami nagkasama nang maayos, 'tapos, hindi na naman kami magkikita?

The hell you thinking, Natalie. May sariling buhay rin 'yan! And really, you're starting to miss the guy?

"It's... okay..." my tone went down. Iniisip ko tuloy kung tunog-malungkot ang boses ko o normal lang. Ang alanganin lang ng dating!

"Don't be sad, prinsesa. Your knight will always be at your side no matter what. Don't miss me so much," mayabang na niyang sabi.

"Asa!" angil ko. Badtrip talaga 'tong lalakeng 'to. Letse.

Humalakhak siya. "But to be serious, prinsesa, even if so hard for me, I need to endure the days of being away from you. For us. For our future. Always remember that I always do this for you."
