Dominic kissed me lightly. At least, before his took his hand from mine and wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me up against him. I kept my arms at my sides, not believing that I was actually having my first kiss. And, let me tell you, it was incredible. I could practically feel the sparks flying in between us. He slipped his tongue, tracing the gap between my lips. I immediately put my arms around his neck, pulling me closer to me.

"What was that for?" I asked when we broke apart, gasping for breath.

He breathed a laugh.

"I like you, Ree," he said. "That's what that was for."

I smiled.

"Really?" I asked.

"Yeah," he said, kissing me lightly.

I smiled.

"So what do we do now?" I asked.

"We... enjoy," he said, smiling.

I kissed him again, lingering.

"Come on. Let's go back to the party," he suggested.

Dominic's hand took mine, and we walked back.

They were setting up the projector and makeshift screen.

Dominic laid down in the sand and pulled me against him, wrapping his arms around my waist. I could feel someone's eyes on me and I looked around. I saw Lauren giving me a death glare.

Richy plopped himself beside us.

"It's so not a date," he said, mimicking Dominic. "We're just friends, I swear."

"Shut up, dude," Dominic said, mock-shoving Richy.

"I'm just saying, with Lauren looking over here like she wants to kill someone, I would watch my back. Make sure I survive the night," Richy said.

"Yeah, tell me about it," Dominic said.

I looked back over at Lauren who just grabbed someone and kissed him.

"Wow," I couldn't help myself from saying. "That's pathetic."

"That's Lauren," Richy said.

The music was turned off and the movie started.

After the movie was over, I pulled off my shirt and went into the water. Richy followed, but Riannan went back to hanging out with friends.

"So what happened?" Richy asked.

"I told her about the charade," I said. "And then I kissed her and we came back to watch the movie."

"So she likes you?" he asked.

"She said she did."

"Good. Lauren's coming."

I grew wary, looking for the blonde hair that would signify Lauren's arrival.

"Hey, babe," she greeted.

"Lauren," Richy nodded.

I looked at her cautiously as she glared at Richy to leave us alone.

"I'm gonna go check on your date," Richy said, obviously trying to piss of Lauren. By the look on her face, he succeeded.

He swam back to the shore and away from my angry ex.

"Listen, Nicky-" she started.

"Don't call me that," I snapped.
