The moon finally said farewell

and so the deep ocean sank --

a beauty in disguise she appeared to be.

"Lily, now the moon is resting,

and the bright star burning,

I ought to continue my august romance with you," he declared.

She said, "my dearest, my dearest,

still we can dance and wait for the moon."

Thus their romance continues --

like the Sun, who awaits for the moon,

day and night -- searching tirelessly for eternity.
