The moon finally said farewell
and so the deep ocean sank --
a beauty in disguise she appeared to be.
"Lily, now the moon is resting,
and the bright star burning,
I ought to continue my august romance with you," he declared.
She said, "my dearest, my dearest,
still we can dance and wait for the moon."
Thus their romance continues --
like the Sun, who awaits for the moon,
day and night -- searching tirelessly for eternity.
