Chapter thirty one: The deadly consequences.
"Son you need to eat something for breakfast." Mom stated walking up to the couch I was sitting at. I took a drag of my cigarette and just looked up at her as I exhaled the smoke. "And no smoking in this house."
"You mean my house?" I cocked an eyebrow and she went silent, "I love you, and I'm not saying your food is disgusting by not eating it, I'm just not hungry."
She sighed and placed her ands on her hips, "At least come join us all, besides the tree. Open some presents." She motioned to my father, brother, Axel, Cole, Jillian and Richard; Damien's dad.
"I just need to grab something from my office and I'll sit down and open presents." I rolled my eyes and got to my feet. I put my cigarette out in the ash tray then walked into the hall where I saw Damien and Blake arguing quietly.
I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. They never fight.
"You can't ask her out. You know she likes Asher." Blake growled at Damien. "And he likes her."
"Okay but I like her...a lot and she's done with Asher, especially after she found out all the things he's been keeping from her. I think him knowing about Will is what drove her to the edge." Damien stated and my jaw clenched.
He likes Noah? Does he seriously think he has a chance with her? And I highly doubt Noah is going to be with any guy soon after being in that gym. God I feel so guilty about Taylor. I wish I could just tell her the truth; Taylor is bi-sexual, and is using me as a pawn to cover up the fact that she has a girlfriend from her family.
"Asher will kill you. Literally. He'll never admit it but it's pretty evident that he's madly in love with her and claimed her as his own. I mean, he let her drive his most prized possession. Hell, they argued over the backyardigans at six in the morning, and I've never seen him get into such a petty and silly argument. And dude, when's the last time you've seen Asher smile so much? Genuinely smile? It's only when she's around. You can't take that away from him." Blake retorted.
God she really does make me happy.
"She makes me happy too. And she's not Asher's. Clearly he wants Taylor and not her. That broke her heart and I want to be able to be the one guy that doesn't hurt her and cause her pain." Damien argued and my fists clenched. "Don't get me wrong, I love the guy and he's basically my brother, but she's too good for him. She deserves better."
"What, and you're better?" I barked out angrily, and they turned their heads towards me. "You're just as bad as me. If anything, she doesn't deserve either one of us."
I glared, "Not so big and tough now, huh?" He looked pissed and his fists clenched and unclenched, "What're you going to do? Hit me because your little crush just so happens to be my girl?"
He swung his fist at me and it hit me, making me stumbled back.
"Guys..." Blake said calmly but I ignored him and lunged at Damien, I was fired up as I dropped I lifted my arm to hit him, but someone grabbed my arm and pulled me back.
