Several Days

The room

I woke up a bright light shining in my eyes as I went to stand up I was thrown against the wall I screamed in agony as my bones felt shattered three tall figures in white lab coats walked towards me I tried to speak only stuttering and mumbling the words I wanted to say I spat it out wh...whe..where am i?  I couldn't see their faces due to the angle of the lighting I heard them talking to each other than telling me that I'm in a test facility of some sort I heard a door open and heard a female voice "Oh god not again not again!" she pushed the dark figures out of the way and yelled at them to move, and knelt down beside me " are you ok?" she asked as she had a worried look on her face I gave a forward answer "I think so but I think my arm is broken" she smiled at me and told me that she will take care of it as she walked out of the room and pulled the guys with her. I could hear their conversation from inside the room

Girl:" YOU KNOW NOT TO DO THAT TO HER SHES SPECIAL!"

Guy 1: "S..sorry Mrs.Ember"

Guy 2: "Who cares about her anyway"

Mrs. Ember: "I Do! She's special and needs to be kept alive!"

I Heard them walk down a hallway and I thought about why had they called me special. I still sat on the floor in pain trying to keep my arm still, I was fading in and out between coughing up blood I looked at the puddle of blood the size of a small platter in front of me and I looked at my clothing and how there were blood splatters on it bothered me  and made me feel queasy I heard someone walking back down the hallway  the door creaked open and I was lifted and carried out of the room and down a hall, this person had incredible strength and a small like body figure I had asked for their name and got no response I could hear their steady breathing but it soon started to get quicker as he had started running after noticing the blood spatters on my clothing he pushed through the door and had hollered for Mrs. Ember "MRS. EMBER COME QUICK SHES BLEEDING" Mrs.Ember came rushing towards me and told the blurry figure to lay me down on the patient's bed. I was placed down and began to hyperventilate which caused me to cough up more blood, I felt a sharp pain in my arm I looked over to see a nurse putting a needle in my arm i noticed a fragment of blood soaked bone popping out of my arm

"whats that" she had told me it was a pain killer, I felt as my arm went numb and I slowly started to drift off. I woke up hours later with my arm in a cast and a plate of food at the end of the bed with a note that read

Good afternoon Patient 135A67 I was told you'd wake up around this time and made you some lunch. P.S I was the one who carried you down the hall also Mrs. Ember is your nurse if you need anything yell out her name

I smiled slightly and then that smile faded away into a frown I looked out the window to see smooth sand and crystal clear water I yawned and called out Mrs. Embers name  and heard her as she walked towards the door she noticed no one was there she looked over at me and smiled

Mrs. Ember: "Your awake finally"

Crystal: "why did you call me special? Whats wrong with me!"

Mrs. Ember: "We will explain that later right now Dr. Swanson would like to see you"
