Chapter14:Why not?

~Friday~

Im getting ready for my first official date with Dwyane.
I'm so excited!!

He said his cousin could pick us up.I hear the door bell ring.Dwyane insisted on meeting my parents.He said its because all of my friends have met them.And it's true,I used to hang out with Rosie,Stephen,and Mikel so much that my parents LOVE them.They met Tucker too.

I'm ready so I walk downstairs.He's already talking to them.
Please don't embarrass me.
Please like him.

I approach with caution,and I hear something that takes me by suprise...LAUGHTER(!!!)
WTF

W-heyyyy

They all look up.

D-hey Wendy.
(Wd-wendy dad,Wm-wendy mom)

Wd- I like him Wendy

Wm-yes he's very funny

D-haha I like you guys too,but we gotta get going.

Wd-ok have her back by at least 10:00

D- I'll have her back by 9:30

I just look at him.Really?

We walk out the door.His cousins car is a plain black.We hop in but to my surprise the inside is like a limo.

W-wowww.I say in shock.

Dwyane smirks.

The front and the back seat are separated by a glass.

I walk in and greet the guy with no answer.

D-he can't hear you.

W-ohhh.I feel dumb now.We laugh.

All of sudden he gets serious

D-your not dumb,not even close.

I couldn't help but blush and smile.

W-thanks

D-and your really pretty.

Here I go smiling and blushing again.He just does that to me.

We spend the car ride learning more and more about each other.

I still felt as if he wasn't telling me something,but that's only to be expected.We're basically strangers; why would he tell me everything thing about himself?

And that's ok cuz I knew enough about him but I didn't even know where we were going!!!!

W-hey where are we going anyways?

D- I don't know really,I was thinking sparkles or dave and busters.Some where fun.Which one would you prefer?

W-Dave and busters is too loud,I love talking to you so how about sparkles.

Warning I couldn't skate to save my life!

We both laugh.

D- I can teach you.

He knocks on the glass and it roles down.

D-take us to the nearest sparkles.

The window roles back up.In less than 10 min we pull up to sparkles.

We get to the booth to pay and I'm ready to pay for myself when Dwyane stops me.

D- I got you.He smiles.
He's such a gentleman.

We walk in there's alot of teens there pretty much no kids and less adults.We see a couple people from school and wave,but we came here to talk and hangout with each other not random kids we.don't talk to.
