Chapter Sixteen

Life with Forth was perfect. After the wedding, we took a trip to California. The beaches was beautiful and you can see the whales and dolphins swim which was absolutely fantastic. Forth even tried surfing, failing off his board numerous times. It was adorable how he didn't quit, and learned how to stay up the board. He would probably try to go surfing back home, that would be interesting to see. After the beach, Forth and I went shopping. The stores here was like the ones in New York, that was welcome change but I didn't dare remember the rest of time in my life. By the end of the day, I had 10 bags in each hand and Forth carried the rest. Forth called me a shopaholic but I disagreed. I haven't went serious shopping since I left New York. California was so fun and I enjoyed every moment I shared with Forth, but I was happy when it was time to leave, I missed my student dearly. Once we were back everything returned to normal, which was fine for me. But it felt like something wasn't right.

    One day in the middle of the year, one of my students told me their mom was pregnant and was having a baby girl. She came to school to pick up her son and the slight bump in her belly told everyone she was expecting. It dawned on me what I wanted then-a child. Once at home, I made Forth dinner and was going to ask the question to him. I was nervous to what his answer would be, what if he said no. I don't know what what I'd do then. Once Forth ate and I washed dishes, I finally asked him of my desire.

"So Forth I was thinking..."

"Ya? What about?"

"Well we have this big house and I was just wondering if you ever thought of filing it up something."

"What do you mean?"

"I uh..I want kids." Forth starred at me and then smiled broadly.

"I would love to raise children with you" Forth said. I was ecstatic and rushed into Forth's arms. I couldn't believe this was really happening. I had the perfect husband, and would soon have the perfect child to raise with him.
